Anyone have any more information on this article from page 8 of Disney Files:

"Member feedback fuels resort enhancement. . .

Plans call for crews to move one of the kitchenette sinks into the bathroom, add a lock to the bathroom door and a full-length mirror to the kitchenette and tighten a small identified gap in the bathroom door. Other Bay Lake Tower enhancements scheduled for completion this fall include a new jogging path and fire pit."

I am wondering when the work is starting or if it has already. And as a new member if a "enhancement" (a.k.a. - fix for obvious design issues) have ever happened this quickly before at t DVC resort. I can't imagine that this will be cheap and not have an impact on dues next year.

According to Tim at DVCNews.com, Disney Vacation Development (the developer) is covering the cost of the changes.

Not sure when the projects will be completed, but I'd imagine there will be much rejoicing from Dis DVC-ers about the lock on the bathroom door.

That's great! Those are the two complaints I hear about BLT all the time. The gap didn't bother us during our stay but I think sheers for the windows would be nice.

So DW was just reading the Files last night and turned to me and asked...

"what gap in the bathroom door?"

I had to explain it to her - I hadn't noticed it during our first trip but had read about it on here afterwards. So when in the bathroom a couple weeks ago on our 2nd stay, I purposefully looked for it. It didn't jump out to me, but I finally saw what people were talking about. Didn't bother me either, as I had to actually look for it.
