I purchased a 30 pt contract at BLT and the information on my charge statement divided the charge into two different entries, DVD $2500 and DVC Escrow payments, $860. The total, $3360, is correct so I didn't question it. Does anyone know why this was listed this way? What's up? :confused3

I'm guessing because the payments are actually made to 2 different DVC accounts or DVC entities, so they have to charge them as separate transactions. Just a guess, though.

They did the same for me.

That give us the TOTAL of $3360 interest free for 6 months.

That worked for me.

Purchased a 100 pt contract and charged it to my American Express. Was listed as 2 charges but only because we made 2 separate payments. We put the 10% down payment (minus the $5 discount) so we had a charge of $620, the day we bought.

Then once we received the paper work we charge the balance and it was listed as 1 charge for $10,080.

Explain, please.:confused3

If you use Disney VISA you get 10% of total purchase or 2500 max charged interest free when you use the card.

This has been on another thread with people saying you can not get more than 2500 interest free. I don't know why my guide did the two billing because I did not ask for it but the two billings give you the two listing on your statement and both interest free for 6 months.

I have added on once in Oct and once in Nov for @30 BLT points and both hit the statement in 2 billings with BOTH billings interest free.

Why-how it works, I don't care, I love the interest free part.

I'm using my Disney Visa and didn't know about this! Thank you!! Did they do it automatically or did you have to request it. When we bought 3 years ago they had a promotion, but noone knew how to process it correctly and I spent alot of time on the phone talking with them as they were charging me interest. I just purchased 2 80 point contracts and I do have 2 disney visa, One is mine and one is my husbands. Thanks again for letting me know!!! That just makes my day!

I didn't ask for the interest free part my guide just did it. I am so glad.

But have heard from others that it was not done for them so be sure to ask.
