BLT Contemporary DVC - What is your guide saying?

I've seen on a few threads that when questioned, the guides are not saying much, but they are dropping little hints.

Last week we spoke to our guide who said - after several *click, click, clicks* on his keyboard, "I do not have anything announce at this time, but I have it down here to call you soon". . . very heavy emphasis on the "soon".

Just curious - what are your guides saying? Any other little hints that they are dropping??

We are hoping for a July announcement!

mind says she doesn't know - that say - she and the other guides were told don't take any vacation in July or August.

(she also say if people had that vacation already down - they could go or if someone got sick)

something big is coming.

what else could it be?

My guide said it will not happen. But who knows we are in Cali so we are far from the action. I have been told other things as well that it won't be DVC but as of right now, I will believe it when it's officially announced.

My guide told me that they are hoping that it will be and that they should find out in a couple months. I hope it is.

That is simply the most DIRECT response a guide has given to the BLT question! Good for you!

Just returned from my WDW/cruise vacation. On the Wonder at the Member Welcome Party the guide was talking about what was new in the World and mentioned The Wave at the Contemporary. Then she said, "Anyone else know what is new at the Contemporary?" People were whispering about the construction under their breath when the guide said with a big smile, "Nothing! There is nothing else going on at the Contemporary!" Everyone just laughed. Read into that what you will.....

Our guide said he had a waiting list of about 150 and would add our name. He'll give us a call as soon as something is official.

Bay Lake Tower. They changed it from Kingdom Tower to Bay Lake Tower (rumored). I think the official name will include the Contemporary, it's easier to market.

thru some voice mails we learned from our guide that they have a "code" they can flag your account with to contact you when a "new" DVC property becomes available. he was very careful to say that they don't know anything and couldn't talk about it if they did.... but from the way he said it, i got the sense it was coming this summer.

Bay Lake Tower @ Disney's Contemporary Resort - so far.

but how can anything that small - even be considered a tower in this day and age...

I'm hoping for this summer! It sure does seem like the guides are dropping hints. . . if the guides have a "code name" for this project - then that means it's SOMETHING! Hooray for BLT!

disney does not tell the guides anything - afraid they would tell us.

but hey that thing while small for a tower is definitley going up - it has got to be a DVC - by Disney own rules - I think the 5 years quits next year - might 2010. they say they won't build any new resorts at WDW - DVC is not consider a new resort but a timeshare - because they get their money back immediately.

It can't be anything else.... boy don't believe I am saying that.
