Arriving in a few weeks for our second stay at BLT. We usually use a town car service that will take us by a grocery on the way. I have two quick questions that hopefully some of you can help me with.

We will be arriving early, possibly around 11 AM and realize a room can't be guaranteed. We plan to hit the parks right away, but are concerned about our groceries. Do they provide a place to store refrigerated items? If the room is ready, this won't be an issue, but want to make sure.

Second, we can be dropped off at BLT and check in there now, correct?

yes, they bell services stored our groceries for us. they gave us a ticket when we returned back from the park. we just checked in, got our keys, and they took care of the rest. when we came back later, they met us up at the room with everything! :flower3:

We stayed at BLT for 8 nights in June. When we checked in, we had our cooler with us. We checked our luggage and the cooler in with bell services and headed to the MK. When our room was ready around 4:00 (we have stayed there 3 times so far, and never gotten a room before 4:00), bell services delivered our food and cooler to our villa. The cooler was ice cold - it had been stored in a refrigerated area - it was an unexpected surprise.

Every time we've stayed at BLT we take groceries and bell services takes the items and keeps them in a refrigerated area. However, that was when we checked in at the Contemporary. We are going in about 6 weeks. I assume BLT now has bell services if that is where we are to check in. I'm trying not to stress about it. It isn't a huge deal to me if I need to go over to the Contemporary. But the kids are taking their grandparents (obviously my and DH's parents) on their first DVC trip (and first WDW trip in more than 25 years) and I'd like it to be as smooth as possible! We want to show them how fabulous DVC and WDW are!

We used an offsite delivery service for our most recent trip to OKW. Everything was delivered to the front desk/bell services and kept cold until delivered to our room.

The existing relationship between Disney and delivery service made for a very easy transaction.:woohoo:

Bell Services is still at the Contemporary so you need to drop off your luggage and groceries there.

So we should have our town car driver drop us at the Contemporary so we can drop our bags and groceries, and then just walk over to BLT for check-in?

We arrive Oct 13. Should we bother with check-in since it will be 11AM or just hit the parks and check in upon return?

You may be able to check in at the Contemporary, there are mixed reports.

IMO the latter you check in, the less chance of getting your room location request.
