Thanks for the blog, VERY interesting, I will be watching to see it unfold. I gotta say it ticks me off a bit though, seems like they have released discount after discount after discount ever since we became DVC members when they WEREN'T offering discounts - now hoping they will throw some of us frequent visitors a bone but I'm not holding my breath

Free dining would be awesome for late January/early February 2011. I am already booked, but hope I can change DDP to free!

This would be awesome news, and perfect timing. Were going to be on vacation at WDW August 23rd through Sept. 2nd. I'm already planning on booking the bounce back for next year, but if this info is released by then, it will give us even more options, nearly a year out from our next trip.

A late February discount would be great, but I am most probably going to book a Bounceback, if I can. Stupid Princess Half marathon and it's tempting medal.

I am doubtful these discounts will extend into December of 2011.

Something we were going to talk about on last weeks podcast but never got a chance is that when we look at Disney's published room rack-rate pricing for 2011 there is a new 'season'. It basically runs from the beginning of December up until Christmas and the pricing is more than value season.

This tells me that Disney has recognized that this has become a more popular time to travel and they can get a little more money out of folks who are looking to travel then. We talked about the fact that the internet has influenced travel trends and this is one of them - early December up until a few days before XMAS used to be the slowest and cheapest time to travel - now it has become more popular.

I doubt they would raise room prices in anticipation of more people traveling at that time and then offer a discount.

Does anyone know if Disney is still offering Bounce backs for next year? We are traveling the 18th-25th of sept. Just wondering if anyone who has just returned was offered a bounce back. Thanks for any help.
