when does this bloated feeling from the gas from surgery go away? I want to be back in my jean shorts!
how about the sour burps, etc?

It takes a while...just keep walking around. Your intestines have to recover from the anesthesia, which slows everything down. Sometimes it's a few days, could be up to a week. Be patient even though it's tough. Did your surgery go ok?

I'm sitting here with that bloated feeling too! I just had my procedure done a few hours ago but other than that gassy feeling, I'm fine..

After my 4 c-sections and my hysterectomy, I had serious bloating and painful gas. Walking helped a lot. Also, I would take scotch mints, put them in my water and sip that. It really did help. Eating the mints didn't work as well as letting them sit in the water then drinking it.
