Blizzard Beach vs. Typhoon Lagoon

I love BB. I'ts fun for kids and adults. TL is mostly water slides. If you love them that's your place. But BB has trying to ballance on giant snowflakes while holding on a rope. Lots of other things too. I would pick BB anyday.

We (DH, DD16, and DD17) like Typhoon Lagoon for the surroundings - very pretty! But for the slides, we love BB!!! :thumbsup2

As far as the wave pool goes, yes, BB is more of a bobbing pool, but the floor is nice and smooth. The floor of the TL pool, as least near the edges, has a grit bottom and can really scrape you up if you get knocked over (don't ask how I know!!!! :blush:

For us, we go over to TL for a short time, long enough to ride the slush-n-gusher and maybe a few other slides, and then spend the rest of our water park time at BB. There are so many more slides there to enjoy and the family ride is great!! :cool1:
