We are going in July to do the things we don't get to do on a "regular" DW trip. I would love advice on where to obtain the best prices for BB, TL and DQ! These will all be firsts for us although we have taken 4 DW trips as a family. We are also doing the Hoop Dee Doo on our first night, any reviews? :earsboy:

Welcome to the boards!!!
I seem to remember Ticket Mania having the best prices. Anyone else?

are you also planning on going to the parks (MK, MGM, etc.)?
if so, and if you're staying on site, you can buy an ultimate park hopper ticket, which includes BB, TL and i think disney quest too...

remember that you have to be at BB before opening....that is a must....in july it usually fills up and is closed by mid morning..
also by 10 the lines get too long....

as for hoop dee doo....well.....we're probably the only family on the planet who hated it....
but go for yourself and see...
i much preferred the diamond horseshoe revue (although that's closed now, so i guess the hdd is the only place for that sort of thing)...
but what bothered me about the hoop dee doo was the way everything seemed so rushed...
you sat, the food was plopped down in front of you and you were supposed to chow down as fast as you could while trying to watch and enjoy the show at the same time...
it was probably one of the most unpleasant eating experiences i've ever had at disney....i DO NOT like to be rushed.....this was warp speed rushing....terrible....

but as i said, i think we're the only people on the planet who feel that way...everyone else i've ever spoken with, loved it...

We're going to Orlando the end of July and this time is the first trip I have NOT made any disney plans ***Gasp***. It's actually driving me crazy. However, we have made the decision that we're going to spend a relaxing week in Orlando at a wonderful resort in a 2 BR unit. Plus, it's just too hot to be in the parks in July. That said, we're going to use our flex features from our old passes to maybe hit Typhoon Lagoon one day. If you can afford it, you may want to consider buying passes with flex features. You can always use the Disney park days for a future trip. Check out the mousesavers website. We purchased tickets for Disney Quest (that we haven't used yet) through Ticket
Mania using a mousesavers code. We're planning on using those tickets this trip.

We are not going to the parks (GASP!). We go to Disney every other year and last year we did it all. So we have decided to go to the Waterparks and DQ this year. We can never fit them in to our trip. We plan to enjoy the pools at our resort and relax while there. I just signed up for the Mousesavers newsletter and will need the tickets before the 15th rolls around again, is there a way to get the code for the Ticket Mania deal since I won't have the newsletter?:earseek:

You will get Mousesavers on July 15th.

You then go through the process and order them online.

I ordered mine less than 5 days before we left.

They deliver them directly to your hotel, and they were waiting for us when we checked in.

As far as I can tell, Ticketmania is not selling just water park tickets, either in their regular store or through Mousesavers specials. DisneyQuest tix are available from them, and the difference between the regular Ticketmania price and the Mousesavers price exists, but is very minimal. I say if you feel better buying them now, buy them now!

Also, single day water park passes are not available online, but depending on how many days you're going to be there, you may want to consider a Water Park Annual Pass or a Water Park/Disney Quest Annual Pass. I think it works out to if you're planning on hitting the water parks for 4 days or more (5 or more days if you're getting the WP/DQ pass), it's cheaper to buy the annual pass, which you can get once you get there -- there's no advance discount unless you're getting admission to the regular parks as well.

Although I like the "buy Park Hopper Plus passes now, use the plusses now and save regular park admission for later" plan (mentioned above). You can get discounts on these tix, and you might save even more if Disney decides to raise their ticket prices again!
