We have decided to finally try a water park - we think BB would be the best. I had a few questions - would be grateful for any information.

1. Does anyone have any good pictures of the kiddie area - or maybe some details about it?

2. My kids are not tall enough for the big slides, so I was wondering about Toboggan Racers, Runoff Rapids and Snow Stormers. How deep is the water at the ends of these slides?

3. At the Ski Patrol Training Camp for pre-teens - what age group is allowed in here and how deep is the water?

4. And finally... When you arrive at the park, do you stake out a chair and save it for the entire day or do you move your stuff around the park as you experience the different areas? I'm very confused about that. If so, where is the best place to do this (we have 3 small kids).

5. Sorry one more - Can you bring in your own life vests or do you have to use the parks?

Thanks for ANY help! :)

I will try to give you some help here. I don't know about how deep the water is in any one section, but I can tell you that my son, who was 3 the first time we went, had no problems with that in any of the children's area. They have a great water raft slide for the little ones(sorry don't know the name) that he loved. He just kept going up and doing it over and over again. He is 6 now and still loves it! We have always taken his life jacket with no problems. We usually stake out a chair or two, and place our towels on them. We always go in the summer, and the water parks tend to get very crowded and there aren't enough chairs for everyone. We rent a locker for valuables and clothes so we don't have to worry about those things while we are out exploring. There is a lazy river that is great fun. There are boat type rafts that you can place small children inside as you all float down the river. And keep in mind it is a little less crowded during the week. Hope you all have a great time!

We took our daughter the first time when she was about to turn 3. We mostly stayed in the Tike's Peak area so I recommend finding a chair there and not moving your stuff around or you'll end up without a chair. There were about 4 - 5 little slides in this area plus a wading pool and some water spraying around. We also enjoyed the lazy river and family raft ride. Otherwise we stayed in the kiddie area. My daughter went in the ski patrol preteen area for the first time when she 5. I'm not sure how deep the water is, but it is definitely for swimmers. She went on the Toboggan Racers that trip and some of the other slides. The toboggan racers are slides the entire trip down and do not have a splash down pool, so you don't have to be a swimmer to enjoy it. Here's a link to more info. Hope it helps!

What is the ski patrol preteen area? what can be done there? I am also planning on going to BB for the first time, last trip we went to Typhoon Lagoon. I have 2 daughters who are 9 and 11 and very good swimmers.
