Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon for Toddler?

DS will be 2 and a bit on our next trip and I am looking for suggestions.

Typhoon Lagoon has an awesome section for the little ones. I think you will love it. My little ones did.

We went to typhoon lagoon when DD was 2.5 and she absolutely loved it, and didn't want to leave. She loved a little tube ride that they ride down a slow little path. She must have rode it at least 20 times.

Bumping this thread up to see if there are any more opinions on which is better. For us, we will have DS age 2 and DS age 5 with us. We will be staying at BLT and can either take the Disney transportation or a rental car.


Which park would be better for the kids and for the bus ride from the Contemporary?

Blizzard Beach hands down. Typhoon Lagoon gives me a twitch. It is very hard to watch more than one kid there. I also cannot stand sand in everything. My kids all love Blizzard Beach better than TL. The play area is more contained and the kids have a ball there all day.

Only one of the water parks may be open for your trip when you stay at BLT. Can't remember which is closed now, but they should switch out in late December.

So if you are vacationing after Jan 10, BB will be closed and TL open until sometime in Mar when both should be open.
