Hi everyone.....

I have several questions regarding the water parks.....We have been to TL but it was soooooooooooo many years ago. Even though we have been to WDW....we haven't made it to the Waterparks....since we are going in the summer this year.....we figure we'll go to both.

So I'm looking for advice on...

1. Best location to sit

2. Best CS spot

3. Best touring strategy

4. and last but not least any tips you want to share!

Our specifics....Family of four....all active participants...although by one or two slides....I may just say "show me the wave pool/lazy river". DD - 18, DS-14. All like everything...daredevils...etc. Everyone can swim....Will be going first thing upon opening and then having lunch for one park and we MAY....if I can convince myself and not freak out over not going out the door at the crack of dawn.....go one day at around 2-3 pm and stay later.

At TL, we do Crush & Gusher and Shark Reef first. Then we do the tube slides and family ride. The body slides and Hummunga Kowabunga never get bad lines when we go. The wave pool and lazy river can hold a lot of people, so we save those for midday. The park is least crowded the first couple hours and last couple before they close.
We do not eat there, but you can get turkey legs, chicken strips, salads, I think burgers, etc. There is also donuts and ice cream. You can also bring food and a cooler of soda but no alcohol or glass. We often stop by Chick-Fil-A if staying offsite and buy salads which we bring in. We also sometimes go to a different onsite hotel and eat at their food court and spend time walking around the grounds to get a break midday.
If a big storm comes up, we go outlet shopping. The parks do often close for storms and can reopen in an hour, or it could be a couple.
Everyone looks for something different in seating, so I don't know what to recommend. One thing we do is find the smoking areas and avoid them.
At BB I would do the slides that go from the ski lift first because that line gets crowded. Next the Downhill Double Dipper and the toboggan racers seem to get crowded, and finally, the tube slides. Again the small wave pool and lazy river are good when it is crowded.
Hope you have a great time. The waterparks are awesome!

Thanks for those suggestions...I'm hoping others will respond too with recommendations on where to sit.
