Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon Umbrella spots

Hi, does anyone know if there are reserved umbrella/chair spots by the wave pool at both Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon? We'll spend a good amount of time there and that would be the ideal spot to request if possible.

Yessss -- yes there are!

Reserve in advance via phone and you'll get a good location.

We were in the "island" area in the wave pool at Blizzard Beach, right in the middle of the wave pool in the shade. There's only 4 umbrella stations located there and it's awesome!

For Typhoon Lagoon, we were stationed along side the Cabanas, so ask for the "tilly" section and you should be good. Both areas were centrally located with no one bothering us. Very quiet!

I booked in advance but they told me I couldn't request a spot or certain area of the park. How does that work?

If you're talking about the cabanas you have to pay for, I wouldn't recommend spending your money. Both places have so many places to get covered shade for free, you'll have no trouble getting one. At BB, go toward the back of the park, there are some "hidden" chair areas in the sand that nobody goes to.

I have to be able to see the water so don't want to be in one of the out of the way back spots. I will give them a call and see what they say. Last time it was almost impossible to get chairs by the Blizzard Beach wave pool.

We had both of those areas as well and loved them too!! We reserved ahead by phone too.

Thanks for the Info. This is out first time hitting the watermarks! Question... Do you just take a chair and put your non valuables there for the day? (Valuables in rented lockers?)
