Blizzard Beach and towels

Someone please refresh my memory. Are the towels they provide at BB, free or is there a towel rental fee?

There is a rental fee. We are heading to BB next week, and we plan on just raking towels from the hotel. Easier and cheaper than renting at BB.

There is a rental fee of $2.00 per white bath-size towel at the water parks. You can also purchase large beach towels, but I think they start at $15.
