I got a bog ressie but we're meant to be at bb that day. Our ressie is 5:40. Is this feasible bearing in mind we'll need to wash and change at the hotel. I am aware queues at bb can top an hour so don't want to lose out on time there. Perhaps leaving at 2:30 would work? We would get ready at bb but I'm told there are no hairdryers.
Other option is to try tomorrow for a slot at bog on our final night at mk but I'd wanted to use that for rides and not centre on food.
What would you do?

You should be fine - get to BB at opening at hit the big slides first.

Do you have a car? If so 2.30 should be fine but if you are relying on buses you might be better leaving at 2pm (depending on how long it will take for you to get ready when you get back!)

I agree with Tracy about allowing plenty time for transport. Buses to and from the waterparks are often shared buses that serve more than one resort and more than one park so it can be a very scenic route getting there and back.

With that said, we usually arrange a dinner at DTD for around 6 pm on our water park days and getting there early usually allows us ample time to do what we want to do. Not sure if we are the exception to the rule but 4-5 hours at a water park are more than enough for me

No car so reliant on disney buses! We need to get back to pofq then onto mk after changing. Is 4 hours enough? Girls are 6 and 4 so envisage doing teamboat springs, toboggan racers, lazy river and the pool area.

Longer than us, we do about 2 hours and had enough. The year we had Premium AP's we went in for about 1 hour the whole year. Not my idea of a good day spending time in a water park.:rotfl: Rather spend a bit of time in a quiet hotel pool relaxing, again 1-2 hours of that is more than enough.

It really depends.

Usually I would spend around 3 hours there and head home. But last trip we were there for 7 and didn't get bored :)

It's definitely doable in four hours - get there 30 mins before opening and hit the popular stuff early.

Thanks everyone. I don't know how I would have planned this trip without the board! So much has changed since my last visit.

I would think 4 hours will be plenty with the ages of your girls, as PPs have said do the rides you want to do early. We love the waterparks and can easily spend all day there, but also do 1/2 days frequently at BB as the main pool is not so entertaining as at TL. :goodvibes

I am not really the best person to ask! I have been to the water park for a couple of hours of an afternoon and on the other hand have been there nearly all day.

4 hours will allow you time to do the stuff you have mentioned.

The biggest queues will be for the rides that have a 48" height requirement but it doesn't sound like you want to do them (summit plummet, slush gusher, downhill double dippers). Even in summer most other things only have a 20-30 minute line.

At 6 and 4 they are likely to want to spend a good deal of time at the wave pool if they are anything like my daughter :)

Just a heads up for those water park buses, you will stop at all the Riverside stops before you are dropped back at POFQ so allow an additional 15 minutes

Also note that the blizzard beach buses are shared with Animal Kingdom

So the bus might be already quite crowded by DAK guests once it arrives to pick up guests at BB

be sure to allow plenty of time for transportation

plan at least 1 hour between BB and POFQ and an equal time from POFQ to MK and remember that BOG is all the way at the back of the park, and you'll need to get there through the crowd

in my experience, getting to a waterpark at opening time will get us done by 1:30 with all the "must-dos" taken care of, and a couple of rounds around the lazy river.

getting out at 2pm should do the trick. But also consider that you'll need to eat.
you have an early reservation at BOG, so if you're planning on eating more than snacks for lunch, you might need to eat at a busy time at BB, or get out of BB earlier and eat at POFQ or elsewhere, but this might be too close to dinner.

sorry if I made this worse :)

Also keep trying for a later reservation at BoG - something may open up quite close toyour date which would give you a little more time at BB. I cancelled a 6:40 BoG reservation about a week before the date - so someone got lucky with that one!
