Blaster Worm has been detected on my computer..

My Norton Antivirus says it cannot repair

What do I do? The last time we had a virus I sent the tower away and $300, and a week later it was fixed.

HELP!

Try going to www.symantec.com ... it's Norton's website. They have manual instructions, as well as a removal tool you can download.

Did you get this taken care of Lynn?? My daughters computer caught this worm as well and it took me all last night to fix it! I had to download the Windows XP patch on a disk from my computer and then install it on hers...same thing with the Fix Blaster...it worked out well and thankfully her computer works great now!

I hope you got rid of your worm too!

I had been having trouble with this, and came across this link. I happened to be IMing an old boyfriend who is a computer expert, and he walked me through the fix. He said to definetly use the patch.
