Food for one person is not 15-20! A slice of pizza and a coke comes out to 8 bucks. That's 16 bucks.
So you're saying that the tickets are $32 each?

I actually have to work today so can't go to the parade but how many people there do you actually think attended at least one Hawks game this season?
A bunch of bandwagon fans maybe.

True but keep in mind that the Hawks are one of the highest salary cap teams in the NHL, they might be the highest actually. So it would be nice for people to support them by actually buying tickets. If nobody buys tickets, you don't have a team, especially not one that is paying millions to sign top tier players.
I'm sorry why does some one actually have to physically go to a game to be a fan? I'm a HUGE hockey fan and really don't have the $$ to go to a game, but followed on tv and online. I guess in your eyes that doesn't make me a "real" fan.
See my post at the top of the page.

I ask you again, that because I can not afford to physically go to a game that I am not a REAL fan? You are a pot stirrer plain and simple.

So you don't think a sports team needs people to buy their tickets to create revenue to pay the players?

A real fan would call out of work/school to go to such an event.![]()
Just curious, how much did you pay for your tickets and what section were they in?Yes for the upper deck levels. The cheapest bulls tickets are 35 and I know that the hockey tickets go for less than that.
They could just, ya know, not pay them as much.![]()
Says the student.![]()

Who skipped her first day of college in Indiana (move in and freshman activites) to go to a Cubs signing in Chicago.Oh, and I have graduated already, thank you very much.

I skipped lots of college days, good job. Wait till you have a real job with real responsibilities. Real fans work, pay money to go to actual games. Real fans are the reason why, ya know, the Hawks can afford the top tier players.![]()

Considering that they sold out most of their home games, it's unlikely that the average person would be paying face-value for the tickets.
See, I didn't skip a whole lot of days in college, I wanted to get my monies worth and actually attend class. But I did pay for my own tickets, working as a grader and lab aide, and went home over the weekends to go catch a Cubs game here and there. Plus, I actively collect Cubs memorabilia and attend Cubs Convention. So I am not a real fan, huh?![]()
Sold out the game to whom?
Okay you're a Cubs fan, congrats?
