The new series "Black.White." premiered last night on F/X....did anyone else catch it?

The premise is this: a middle class white family and a middle class black family undergo extensive "special effects" type makeup to make them into the opposite race. They then experience life in that race and return "home" to their big house they are all sharing during this experience.

I found it a very interesting social experiment for both families. I agree with the black father who said at one point to the white father, "you will get more from this experience than we will." I hope, though, that we all learn from this.

Anyone else?

I DVR'd it last night but didn't watch it, yet. I'm looking forward to it. I think the "walk a mile in my shoes" theorem will be used here. I wonder what they all will learn?

I think the white father who became black looked more East Indian than black! People are probably going to treat him like an Indian, not like a black man.

My favorite one is the white daughter, I love how she looked and how she experienced the poetry group.

Good point on the dad...I didn't think about that at all.

I think BOTH of the kids in this situation are screaming out "HEY, I'm (white/black)" when they are in full make-up. The white girl's poetry could not have said "Hello, I am a white middle class kid with no life experience" any better! And the black boy's attitude during "finishing school class" was very humorous (and what white kids actually do this for fun?).

I thought the show was fairly interesting, but I was a little disappointed. I only saw bits and pieces as I was switching back-and-forth between that show and Bravo (Project Runway/Top Chef).

I haven't seen it. I would like to watch that.
