Black Magic Bands?

Does anyone know why the plain black magic bands are not an available option to choose from when you book a trip? I see you can buy them at ShopDisney but they are the same price as the other plain colors that you can order with your reservation. Anyone know?

Because they can get people to pay for them instead of giving them away for free with your room?

No one knows why Disney does most of the things they do. For all we know, it could have something to do with the supplier that customizes the MBs for resort guests.

Because black on black is awesome and they know people will pay for it—same with rose gold, teal, etc. I fell for it...
