Hi all

How are crowds like during the weekend after Thanksgiving at all the parks?
Is any of them sold out. My family is arriving @ 11am Friday morning.
Any advice would be great?

How long are you staying? I can't speak for Fri & Sat, but we've gone twice arriving the Sunday after Thanksgiving, and it was a nice week to be there.

Hey
We are staying from the 24th to the 28th?
We are doing the MVMCP that sunday night.
Trying to decide what parks to visit that Friday and Saturday.

I was there that week last year, arriving the Saturday following thanksgiving and staying through the following Sunday. I would say crowds that Saturday and Sunday were very manageable and not crazy.

Do you think MK, EP, or AK will be craziest on Friday or Saturday?

Are you staying on-site? That will help determine whether you would utilize EMH or whether you should avoid EMH.

Yes We are staying at AOA.

We bought the dinning plan with the 1 qs and 1 ts.
We are going to eat at 1900 park fare the first day.
Its at 2:00 reservation

We did the Friday after Thanksgiving through Monday last year and found it perfectly manageable. Friday/Saturday felt like Spring Break or October crowded to me. Sunday felt like a big sucking sound of everyone leaving and I was happy we were staying.

I had previously done that Sunday-Wednesday following Thanksgiving a few years prior and enjoyed that window as well.

Certainly not empty by any means, but very manageable.

That is a popular DVC time, FWIW.

Have fun!

Do you mean the weekend most, and for the longest time, traditionally known as Thanksgiving weekend? :D Yes, expect all days to be about equally crowded, given that the Wednesday before and the Sunday after are among the busiest travel days every year.

I think I may have been at the parks in a bad order compared to your other posters because we found ourselves pretty disappointed of the crowd level being so high this past November '16 for a 10 day trip that began the Fri after Tgiving. That said, we are frequent mid December visitors and have never touched summer, so my comparison value might have an unrealistic bar that's set too high.

It probably is the time you usually go that made it seem a lot more crowded to you.

We have gone in June and August and then the same dates as you did in 2016 and we thought the crowd levels were nice and manageable.

We also went mid December 2015 and compared to that time, it was a lot busier the week after Thanksgiving.

I would suggest getting fast passes in advance. Basically Holiday weekends are pretty busy. If kids are off from school=parks busy.

I typically go either over Thanksgiving or Christmas, so I would avoid Epcot on Friday. It will be very packed as the Holidays Around the World will start that day. MK would be good on Friday. Everyone will be at Epcot because of Holidays Around the World. I would definitely do Epcot on Saturday or Monday as most people start leaving on Saturday evening. You want some time at Epcot to go around the World Showcase to see the storytellers and maybe look at seeing the Candlelight Processional. When we go over Thanksgiving, we arrive the Tuesday before and leave the Tuesday after. Sunday through Tuesday will be very manageable crowds. But I would avoid Epcot on Friday and MK on Saturday. I hope this helps.
