I plan on being at The Disney Store at 5:00 am! :sunny: (I need a moon smiley!) DD is going w/ me this year so we can go to the Limited Too after TDS. I think DMom is going as well, so she can help me w/ DD if I need to get her stuff w/out her seeing it.

We will go to a few stores and then be back home in bed by 10:00!

I am going to the mall today to pick up our Christmas pictures and will look a little bit to see what is out and will also go back tomorrow to scope out everything else. I was only going tomorrow, but I want to get my pictures today. Tomorrow, I will go later in the day and write down stuff in TDS that I want to get. I have to do the list or I will end up buying everything or not getting anything I need.

I love getting bargins and seeing how much I can get for what little I spend!!

I went two years ago with my sister, but we only went to Kohl's (so I could get my Kitchenaid stand mixer for half price), Planet Music, and one or two other places. We drove by Best Buy, and it parking lot was packed. She wanted some CD's, so I told her to circle the lot and I'd run a re-con mission. The lines extended to the back of the store, so I came back out, waved her down, and said let's beat feet outta there - no movie or music was worth 2 hours in line. I am pretty sure that is all we hit, except maybe a Target on the way home. There is nothing in the ads this year that I cannot live without, and a lot of times the electronics are kind of cheap-o, so even though the prices seem great, the devices are not generally worth the original price anyway. I am going to check out some on-line sites and see if they do BF on-line specials. The shipping costs would be worth it if it means I can sleep in and avoid the crowds.

Nope, Friday morning I'm going to be sleeping in my toasty warm bed, not waking up at the crack of dawn, then going out and scraping the ice off my car windows just so I can go be in the mob of people fighting over $5 Game Boys or something.

But you all have fun! :)

Went to the mall on Black Friday for the first time ever last year. I'm not dying to repeat the experience. We're going to the musem, then maybe shopping afterwards.

well, Crack me over the head with a Stupid stick and just Call me Insane...
 I will be among the millions and try some Early morning sales...

Kohl's is the 1st on my list

:moped:

Not this year!!! I am 90% done shopping!! We are packing up and heading out early though....heading to Morgantown for the weekend to see the Saturday Mountaineer Football game!!! LET'S GOOOOOOOOOO MOUNTAINEERS!!!!!!!!! :cheer2:

I have never gone. But DH loves it! He got hooked our first year married. so here is his story. We needed a stereo of some kind and Target has one for like $44. So he went. He wore a red polo and when he got in the store he booked towards electronics. He sees people leaving with stereos. He happened to go down a "The Girly" aisle and they had 3 stacked up there. Another guy came and found them too and other's were following. As he is climbing the shelf to get them down he is telling the followers that they were bringing out more in the back. They were listening to him because of his Target team member shirt. So he ended up getting one and the guy that helped him and they set the other one in the middle of the aisle. He knows now it was wrong but he was a young dumb 21. Even if we have nothing to buy he gets up at the crack of dawn to people watch.

You can use the stupid stick on me too! :rotfl2: I love the early morning sales although it is not as fun as it used to be since DH has had to work the last two years.

Isn't there a web site that tells you all of the BF deals? Would anyone know what it was if there is one?

I'm not planning on going shopping that day. I may be helping my DD's winter guard gift wrap for donations. That should be fun.

There is? :confused3 Anyone know????

I am thinking about it. I usually only go to Kohl's, and I am not after much, so I may skip it.

There really isn't much in the ads this year, is there?

We always do...we weren't this year as we have out of town company...

However...now my Wii from Amazon is on backorder till after Christmas.

Soooo waiting for the ads tomorrow...we will see. I am waiting to see the Thur doorbusters and the Wii ads.

I feel like I am missing out if I don't shop on Black Friday. I don't really need any Christmas gifts, but I'll be out there anyway. :teeth:

Actually I have been given a mission from a friend. He has to work Friday and there is a camera he wants for his wife. Doorbuster at Circuit City. Should be interesting. I did the Best Buy cattle run last year. ;)

I voted Other -- I don't go, but DW does along with her Mom. It's when she does the bulk of our Christmas shopping (thankfully, since it means I don't have to do it :thumbsup2 :teeth: )

Took a look at the stores that I'm interested in and I'll be shopping on line. Besides, I was just told that I'm down to chaperone the winter guard on Friday for their gift wrapping fundraiser so I won't really have time anyway. If I'm lucky, maybe I can stop in the store were going to be in front of for a minute or two.

No. I'm NOT insane! I'll wait until next week to start my shopping.

Actually, my Christmas shoppping was supposed to be done by now. BUT, I had to buy a new washer and dryer. Merry Christmas to me. Yay. I don't recall that being on my list, but what can you do?
