Nothing.. There are already BF sales online and will be more on BF..
Caught something on the news - don't know if it was local or nation wide - but when polling shoppers only 20% said they planned to go out shopping on BF.. I think that 20% is over on the BB board..
We really like it. I was trying to talk her into going to Toys R Us at 12AM, then getting and early breakfast at a 24 hr diner and at WalMart by 3. Since they are staying open we can hang out inside till 5am. Although that is going to be weird. Part of the charm is waiting outside in line freezing your butt off. Then off to Target and then to the mall
We usually are at lunch by noon and then home. LOVE IT!!!!
I like to go out for the fun of it too. I usually go just by myself, but this year DH might come with me to a couple of places. Usually, I just get a few things, but nothing big ticket (tv's, computers). I like to do it alone because it's easier to get in and out. But this year, with the new house, I actually need some things, and 4 hands to carry would be helpful.
I am going to JC Penny for bed linens and towels.
Then I am going to Walmart for the Cricut Expression and cartridges.
These are what I need DH for. To help carry at Penny's and to drive the car to Walmart. Last year, I couldn't find a parking spot at Walmart, so if worse comes to worse, he can just drop me off.
Then I will take him home, and probably hit a couple more places.
We do it for the fun and we have teens LOL. dh usually goes with me to walmart then off to work for him - AND me, my mom, sis, and sils, and this year my dd will be going and we all go together and make a girls day out of it...
this is our time just for us since thursday is usually for the guys
we usually get a lot of our shopping done that day!
Ideally, nothing. With any luck, the stuff I "need" will be available online. Otherwise, a laptop, a shredder, and a microwave. But could they all be at the same store? Noooooooooooooo....
I haven't decided yet if I'm going out. If Bath & Body Works is doing something big, I might head there. Best Buy's also supposed to be giving out mystery gift cards to the first 50 people in line; I guess they'll have values anywhere from $5 to $100 or so, so that might be fun. It's also only 2 minutes away, so big plus there.
Usually I go out for fun but this year due to money restrictions through the rest of the year, it's only for a couple of Christmas presents that I can save money on... a drill from Loew's and a couple of DVDs from Target... but there's not really anything I want anyway this year
Still not sure of the plan, but planning on Target for a GPS and Kohl's to browse. Might hit Old Navy because it's close. I will probably end at the mall for H&M's deal.
Going....I am not a fan or it, but DD thinks it is fun to people watch, so I will go with her.
We aren't going to be anywhere at opening though.
I think we will start at Kohl's....spied cashmere socks today. We will see if they have any left by the time we get there. Not sure where else we will go.
Not looking for anything special.
I have to work tomorrow from 8 pm to about 1 am. There is a Toys R Us right near my work, so if it isn't a total madhouse I might stop by just to look around as they open at midnight, otherwise it will be all online.
It will be interesting to hear the news tomorrow - how many people were out; how many people ended up in fist fights; how many people got trampled; how many people went into a rage when the stores only had 3 of the "door busters"; etc..
I'm sure some will be happy, but odds are more will be grumbling..
