OP here, I will need about 600.00 dollars worth, can I buy 2 300.00 ones, or will I need to have DH and I buy on different cards? Can I buy them then purchase the crib and dresser? or is there a waiting time? I really don't shop at Target that much... This is probably silly, what is a Cartwheel, and Red card..

It is 300 per household, but I'm not sure how they would know if two of you went together. You cannot use the gift cards until Saturday per the ad.

Target cartwheel is an app for your phone where you get special coupons and the red card is a credit card. You get a discount off of your first purchase and then I think a smaller discount for future purchases. I don't have one so I can't tell you what that is exactly, but I'm sure it is on the website.

The Target Red Card can be either a credit card or a debit card. It takes a 5% off your purchases when you use the card. The key is that it only takes the 5% off of the portion that you pay for using the red card. So if you mix gift cards and the red card, it will only take 5% off of the red card portion of the payment.

Also, the 10% off Target gift cards is only during the hours listed in the Black Friday Ad. I believe the hours are 6 am - Noon.

I use the Target Cartwheel on my home computer. Do a search for 'Target Cartwheel' online and it will come up. You create an account with them to set up an email and password. It will allow you to put a limited amount of discounts together and print out a bar code that can be scanned at Target when you check out at the register. It is worth looking into.


We got a Vizio tv a few years (3?) ago at Costco during BF. I guess it was made especially for Costco and I'm not sure we would buy another tv from them again. Or, maybe it was just the 'special BF purchase'....we would have to check out any other tv we would buy from them or (at least) any other BF tv deal as this one is having problems already and it is lacking some of the connections it should have. I would love to get a new tv this year (and I see you guys are finding great deals) but DH says we will wait until this one dies completely.

Thats a common sale I believe. If you buy two things that are the same price, thats 25% off. I get coupon cards for that in the mail.

That's what I thought. I see that sale all the time. Maybe I will wait for Cyber Monday? I was hoping for a 40% off sale. But will the sizes I need sell out??? Decisions, decisions...

check their fine print online. Many retailers do not price match Black Friday and cyber Monday deals.

Same here! I heard it was supposed to be midnight central. I nosed around the site and some of the ad items are up at their Black Friday price, but others are not and just say "coming soon"

I heard Best Buy changes their prices slowly over night, not all at once. If you don't see an item you want on sale refresh from time to time. Gotta deal BF site had estimated times the online sales would start.
