You can go inside Walmart and wait in line for the item you want. It is kind of nice because you don't have to wait outside in the cold. The bad thing is that each item will have it's own line and if you want multiple deals you have to have people shopping with you or hope you can make it to another deal before they run out. Your Walmart will have a store map printed up that shows you where the lines are located. If you want to be able to leave the parking lot easily, park far away from the store, close to the exit. At my local Walmart cars are not even allowed to drive in front of the store, it is blocked with barriers and security. Watch for early deals(Amazon, Target, Walmart) on Marvel 2.0, last year you could buy version 1 and Skylanders online a week before BF and get it shipped to you for free. That worked out great for me.

I'm sure it's YMMV, but our Walmart is very organized and not unpleasant to shop in for BF at all. Yes, it's crowded but they police it quite well. Best Buy, OTOH, is terrible and I avoid it like the plague!

Are the door buster ads from Best Buy going to be available online? That is one of the two stores (Target being the other) that I don't want to have to fight to get the deals. I usually am looking at things from WalMart, but BB has the tv for $199 and I would rather get it online.

In-Store only and I'll bet each store only gets like 5.

Funny how stores are different across the country! Our Walmart is terrible and Target is very pleasant and organized! Best Buy though? It's a scary place here too! I can't even remember the last time I went there on a BF!

Yep. The only reason I remember it is because it went on Lightning Deal while I was chaperoning my son's field trip. So, I was sitting in my car, waiting to follow the bus, waiting for the deal to pop up on my phone! Only after I got home did I find out T & W had both dropped their prices online as well.

I got a sneak peek email from Best Buy and in fine print under the Panasonic $199 tv it says in store only. I was also hoping to get one online.

Thanks so much for letting me know. I was afraid of that and I know I don't want to get in that mess at the store…so I guess I will keep looking for the next closest deal that I can order online

Get on their mailing list if you're not already on it. They usually have $10 off $30 coupons or coupons for a free item with purchase. I have been able to use both of them on Black Friday in the past.

My daughter is expecting the 1st week of Feb. We are buying the crib and dresser for them. They have picked out one at Babies R Us and one at Target. They both really look the same to me.
I was just wondering are there ever any deals on these items. I am hoping for one, as I want to surprise them, with another big item on their registry.

Suggestions on any way to save here would be great. Thanks in advance.

OP here, I will need about 600.00 dollars worth, can I buy 2 300.00 ones, or will I need to have DH and I buy on different cards? Can I buy them then purchase the crib and dresser? or is there a waiting time? I really don't shop at Target that much... This is probably silly, what is a Cartwheel, and Red card..
