I'm looking into buying a camera at black friday from either Walmart, Staples, or Kmart (All I have in my town). I was wondering what camera's that are on sale are good.

I went and ckecked out the ones that were on display and working. I liked how the zoom on the canon is and the clear picture.
I have a baby on the way and a two year old so I want a camera that has a fast shutter speed and is all around good quality. I dont know what to look for. I have a kodak easyshare one now and I loved it in the beginning but now I hate it. the lens is all messed up. So what should I look for in a camera and which ones are good camera's?
I know this is a lot, so if anyone can help I would be very greatful!
