I'm excited to see a rumored ad, even if it is only ace hardware. I know the good ads won't come out until way closer, but still I was thinking about BF the other day and already getting excited.

To the person looking for SD cards, I bet there will be a ton on sale this year since they were pretty steeply discounted last year. Last BF I got a 2GB SD card for under $10 so I'm hoping for high speed higher capacity cards this year.

I'm expecting to see 4 gb sd cards below 20 bucks on black friday, as well as 8 gb memory sticks 40 or so....................

Staples has good sale on SD card going on with there back to school stuff.

I am looking for a Nintendo DS this year, I know they were a hot seller last year but maybe I can still find a good deal this year.

I don't know if this helps, but I was in Gamestop yesterday and they have a deal that you can trade in an old DS or Gameboy Advanced and pay appr $89.99 for new DS. If you have either old DS or Gameboy Advanced, that is a good deal.

A couple of years ago, I got my DD her DS from Toys R Us in a bundle type package with some screen protectors, an extra stylus, a game, a case and some other things I cannot remember. I believe I even received a $10 gift card as well. I believe it was around $150 which was really great. Keep your eyes open. I want to say it came out sometime in October or early November. Thanks for doing this again. We're on the hunt for a large TV - ours is 15+ years old and it had better make it until BF! Always looking for SD and CF cards and any deals on the Sony digital picture frame would be awesome.

Does anyone know if there are usually good sporting good deals on BF (we've been doing black friday for years but never really been looking for this stuff)? I've started running and I know that's what I'll be asking for mostly come christmas (shoes and a nike+ specifically) and I like to point mom in the right direction ;-)

Also, do you think they'll be good deals on dvd players or is the emphasis going to be on HDDVD and Blu-Ray?

Hard to believe we're only 3 months away!!

I'm kinda bummed, there's a good chance I'll be on a vacation over Thanksgiving weekend. Christmas shopping will be pretty low on the list of things to do. However I know that the town across the river from where I'll be has a Walmart. I may have to go get me a couple of SD cards if they have a good price.

So exciting to see good stuff coming out already! I cannot wait! I've been picking up stuff here and there as it's been on sale or clearenced then the family decided that we're going to draw names this year instead of buy a gift for everyone...cut my list almost in half but left me with gifts already purchased. Oh well...I guess I'll have to find someone else to use them Would like to get a Wii for DH (and the family) but will have to see what's left in the bank by that time!

I'm totally in since I want to get a laptop. I'm posting on my $189 black friday computer (with printer and lcd monitor!). I got in line for it at 5pm on Thanksgiving, so that probably makes me a freak. This year I have a friend who wants to buy a computer, so we may spend Thanksgiving afternoon in the parking lot together. I just wish I could get up the nerve to see if Best Buy would let me set up a food and coffee stand in their parking lot. If I could sell stuff AND hold my place in line, I'd be a happy camper (quite literally since I'm thinking of bringing a tent.)
