I went to check it out today at my neighborhood Target. There was a big blank area where it WAS! I really wanted to see what kind of picture it had. There was another Westinghouse there but it was an LED, not an LCD. None of the associates were any help, either. The price is so great I really don't CARE how bad it is..

We got the Westinghouse from Target BF last year and we really like it! It works great, no problems at all. This was our first flat screen, so maybe we are just easy to please?? We use it with a LG Blu-ray player and are very happy with it.

Yes, Kindles are basically price fixed, but Target is selling the Kindle Keyboard for $85.

I am looking at the one at Target since I think that model is better for the people who will be receiving them. I am just hoping that Amazon would maybe price match!

I don't know that they will, but it's definitely worth watching. I check Amazon a couple of times a day now, and through December, as they are always having great deals, so you just never know.

We have a Toys R us attached to a BBRU. They are opening TRU/BBRU at 9pm, but the deals I want are at BBRU are from 5am. Can I presume that if someone arrives at TRU and wants to check out with the thermometer I want at 10pm they won't be allowed to get the sale price til 5am? I am due in approx 2 months and am gonna be buying BBRU out of house and home that morning

Last year I had a lucky break with Walmart... There was something I wanted that would go on sale at 5am, but I scanned it on the "price check" after midnight, and it came up with the 5am price... so off I went!!!

If you're planning to hit the store at 9pm anyway... then I would suggest price-checking the 5am items before you check out Thursday night and seeing if you get lucky. Otherwise, if you reallllyyy want that deal, come back at 4am, load up your cart, and wait for the clock to roll over to 5am...

It's really a matter of "how far are you willing to go" Best of luck to you and congrats on your little one!

Just updated first posted with new ads out. They are coming out faster then I can keep up. I was really worried about the midnight time but after looking over the ads for the stores that open at midnight I am not really impressed with the items and have found better deals on items I need for stores that open at 4 AM, so I am happy. It will be wierd not doing Target, Walmart or Kohls this year but I don't see anything I need there. My big ones are Sams Club, Sports Authority, and JC Penny. This is a first for me.

Not sure about the gift cards, but I saw there is a coupon from Target for ipod that runs through black friday. It's on their website.

According to the Black Friday ad, TRU will open at 10:00 THanksgiving night, but some of the doorbusters are no in effet till 5:00 am Friday morning. How do you get those items? Do you have to go in Thanksgiving night and grab one and stay in the store till 5:00 am to buy it of will they not put them out till 5:00 am? What is the best approach to getting these items?

Hi Subbing....It has been years since I have been to Walmart on BF. My ds really needs a laptop his computer is shot...I am hoping for the HP for 248...or the compaq for 198...have to decide...the new spyro pack is also something I am after, that goes on sale at 10. Its a 20$ savings. I am just really hoping I dont waste my time at walmart and end up with nothing...I cant decide what time I should get there!!! Also Gamestop has 3ds bundle that is $120 with the trade in of your old ds! That is a good deal! I will be so mad if I waste time at walmart and get nothing and then miss out on the 3ds bundle...My walmart is 24hrs so how will that work???!!! ugh stressssssiiiiinnnnnggggg

For those of you wanting laptops at the BF sales, be sure you do your homework and look at what processor is in the laptop. one way they are able to offer lower prices on laptops is they are putting netbook processors in the laptops, and it will be a really slow working laptop if you end up with the lower end processor... so please be aware rather than sorry!

Generally they will have skids of the doorbuster items wrapped in plastic. At the specified time the skids will be unwrapped and you can take the item (this is how it works at other stores, never done TRU Black Friday). If you want a doorbuster at 10 and one at 5, you will either have to check out and return to the store later or hang out from 10 until 5.

Thanks!! I want it for my basement, which isn't used that much but has a long wall that needs a bigger screen. Those sizes usually run 600 and up. For almost $300 I can shove my teenager down there with his friends!
