Black Friday Ads Started

I think a lot of people still don't know what the term "Black Friday" means. To those of us who get up @ 4:00am who know Black Friday, we thank you!

I never go to Wal-Mart on Black Friday, I cherish my life :rotfl2:

Thanks.

It doesnt seem like that great of deals, does it?

Maggie

Humm, Is anyone else having trouble getting the pictures to work?

I see one thing one my wish list. Anyone heard of the product, Venturer 6.2" Portable DVD Player?

Can you order the BF deals online too?

TIA!

Seems like some "okay" deals. Unfortunately, not what I'm looking for. So, it most likely won't be my first stop.

Nothing on here really caught my eye enough to deal with the craziness of walmart on BF. I am hoping TRU will have some good deals. Most likely that will be my first stop of the day. I am also hoping for something good at Target, Circuit City or Best Buy.

Nothing caught my eye either. As much as I hate Walmart, I went on Black Friday last year and was shocked at how friendly all of the customers and employees were. Everyone was helping everyone. I was dreading going there but it was actually pleasant - and I really detest going there.
I did notice that it said Gameboy was $48. They were $37 last year. I wonder if that is going to be the gameboy SP for $48. That would be a good deal.

I was also wondering about the game boys too. I am hoping TRU will have something similiar because I would get one for my son. We will see.

I'm glad I didnt see anything I had already bought. I havent been shopping on black Friday in years, it is just to crazy. I start shopping in August so by Thanksgiving I am mostly finished and can relax and enjoy the season.

I got up last year at 4:00 a.m. to go on-line to purchase an item from Staples. I wanted the wireless "netgear" and it also came with a modem card. It was $85, but with rebates it came to $29. It took over 1 1/2 hours to get everything right, then the site crashed. I took a shower and got dressed and went to my local staples store, and they told me their store computers crashed too.

Anyways, they had some wireless remotes left, I bought one, took 2 months to get my rebates and I thought I did pretty good, until I started seeing adds for the wireless remotes now for $32.

Same with a pizza oven I stood in line for 2 hours to buy. It was $58. It would of lasted, but when my son put it in the back of the truck he forgot to shut the tailgate and it flew out the back. I just picked up the same brand 2 weeks ago at Fleet Farm for $54 and it took me 2 minutes to check out.

I looked at that too, but it doesn't say Gameboy Advance SP. Maybe its just a typo/incomplete?

My Wal-Mart was giving out free donuts to people that moring!! It was a nice treat! Got everything I wanted!

I do not think they are making the regular game boy advances anymore. So I imagine it would be the SP :)

Thank you for posting this! I am such a obsessive Black Friday shopper. It is like an art to me. I'm the one that is in line at 4:00am at Walmart on Black Friday, lol!
So Far this is my must have off of that list:
Cabbage Patch Newborn:10.00
Care Bear w/ DVD: 5.00
Hummer Radio Control Vehicle: 20.00
Leap Pad Plus Writing System: 25.00
SpongeBob Squarepants Tv and DVD combo: 99.00 (What do they mean "online only", I just saw this at Walmart the other day?!)

In the meantime, I will have to execute my "Save money like crazy" plan. ;)

Since they do not make the regular gameboys anymore, and the "micro" just came out, I'm thinking it would have to be the gameboy SP........just what I'm looking for!! And last year, I remember WalMart had the regular gameboy, and it was available for purchase online as well as in the store. Some of TRU offerings are the same way.

Hoping for Leapster/V-Smile/Sketch kindof deal.
And MP3 Player.
Can't wait to see other ads.

It depends on the store. Last year my uncle was trying to talk me into camping at Walmart for a Kodak digital camera with docking station that was on sale, until I found it Thanksgiving morning already onsale online. Had to pay shipping, but that $10 (give or take) was WELL worth not having to wake up early, sit in line, and fight crowds.

Thanks for the heads up on this. I take my husband out every year on Black Friday (isn't he a saint??!). We visit his parents for Thanksgiving and his mom watches our daughters and we spend the day together.

However, what we have found is that if you go to Wal-Mart on Thanksgiving evening (yes - they are open), they will give you the Black Friday prices... at least at the Wal-Mart we go to in Iowa. We are then able to skip WalMart on Friday morning and head to the outlet mall and get those sales! Plus, there are no crowds in the evening. Also, they will match any other ad prices from their competitors... just bring in the ad. If the sales person is clueless, just kindly ask for a manager. They just want the sale and are super helpful.

Good luck! I can't wait for my shopping day with my hubby. We have a ball! :Pinkbounc
