I think I've read in the past that if you purchase Disney gift cards online, you can get the Red card 5% even if you don't pay with the Red card.
So theoretically I think we can purchase the $300 in Target gift cards at 10% off. Then go online and use the $300 to purchase Disney gift cards at 5% off.
I'm wondering if we get the red card discount in addition to the 10% discount. That would be $300 for $256.50. Then we'll turn around and buy Disney gift cards a few days later when, hopefully, it's not as busy.
You can't purchase gift cards using gift cards. This is from a friend that is a Target cashier: " No, you cannot. It says on the back that you can't buy any pre-paid cards with a Target gift card."

'I just checked the details. It's a max $300 per household and they can't be used until the next day. You must buy them at the store between 6:00 AM and noon local time or online from 6:00 AM until noon Central time.

Edit:
Oh wait. I was reading you can't get the red card discount on Target gift cards. Bummer. But still saving, $30 is nice.
How do you get the 5% off the Disney cards? You'd have to use the Red Card to pay, correct? I don't think you can get 5% off purchases when paying with Target GiftCards. Although, I'd like to be wrong about that![]()
awesome!there is a trick. Make sure your default payment is set to your redcard (my redcard is the only payment i have saved in my account). It deducts the 5% even if you pay with target gift cards.
Could you also, in the store, buy the Disney gift cards with your RedCard, and then pay off the RedCard balance with the Target gift cards?
