Good Tuesday morning.

I am down .5 of pound. Not much but I will take anything at this point.

Question of the DayWhat are you doing for exercise?

Today I walked for 20 minutes. How about you?

Will write more later. Need to get ready for classes.

Good weighin morning Black Team!!

I am down .8 this week, which isn't much, but for me at least it is a loss, and 2 weeks in a row I've seen a little loss, so I'm happy. I'd like to contribute more to the team, but it doesn't come off very fast anymore.

Exercise for me is walking, and last week, I walked 3 days about 30 minutes before work, and this week will hopefully be 3-4 days.

Hope everyone has a great, losing day!!!!:cheer2:

Good Day!!! I'm down about a lb or so...Not sure what I was last week...

I am doing the C25K, but today is aquacise day!!! Yippee! It for a sure a nice change from pounding the pavement!!!

Hope everyone has a losing day!!! :)

Stacie

This is really sad. We are the only three who have replied with their weights for the week. I knew that BigMama and CLark-Kent were going to be away but where is everyone else.

Stacie where are you planning to do your 5K. I wish there was a pool that I could do water aerobics in. Two summers ago I was swimming about 30 minutes everyday and it really made a difference.

Keep up the good work we are in this together.

Oh no! Don't be sad! I am here! Of course that only makes our total to 4 so maybe we should all be sad together. Nothing to report here. No loss for me. :( I know that I lost focus of my 'no food after 9 pm' rule this past week. Even though my nibbles were well within my points/calorie limit, my body obviously doesn't like to use the food I eat after 9 pm! BACK to the rule so I can report a loss next week!

Exercise for me? Walking! or Walk Away the Pounds Tapes!

I want to try walking at a slow pace but a high incline on the treadmill sometime but I think I need to lose some more pounds before I can begin lifting my readend. :lmao:

Let's all not be sad, but be happy that WE are still here!!! It's a tough time of year, people get busy, lives get hectic, and something has to give. I know I don't get on here as much as I would like. Hopefully, all who have dropped out are doing well on their own. We can still be the biggest loser team by percentages!!!!

I will definitely be checking in more this week. I had lost 40 pounds over the past 2 years, and gained back 5, but now need to lose 1.2 more to be back at 40 pounds gone, so I'm pushing to make that for next week. ( big goals, considering how i've been doing, but I'm going to try.)

Congrats Dona and Postef on your losses. :thumbsup2

Geetey- staying the same is better than a gain, so keep up the good work and you'll see that loss next week.

Onward and downward!!!!

Good morning. Thanks for the kind words about the rest of the tteam. We are here and we can get together when we can.

Geety A stay the same is better than a gain in my book. I know how hard it is to not eat after 9 PM. Good luck with that.

Mikamah Good luck on the 1.2 I know that you can do it. I am 52 and I know how hard it is to lose weight after a 25.

Question of the Day What is your favorite kind of weather?

I like the spring when you can go out without a coat and summer if it is not too hot. We have a foggy day here in Jersey and that always reminds me of college. Montclair State is on a hill in NJ and on spring and fall mornings the fog wopuld always rollin and out. I love to watch the fog move.

HAve a good day everyone.

Keep up the hard work

HI there!

I'm doing the 5K at Disney in January--Marthon Weekend. The Family Fun Safari 5K at the Animal Kingdom. Figured his was the best way to drag my DH to Disney for an extra trip! :) Plus...what better place for your first 5K???

My favorite time of year is Spring... Nice warmer weather, but so humid-hot yet... I am definately a warm weather person!

Hope you all have a good day!
Stacie

Good morning everyone!

Today is going to be one my favorite weather days. Sunny and in the 60s. I enjoy all 4 seasons, but spring and fall are my favorites. I love sweatshirt weather. The summer heat when it's humid and above 80 can really get to me. I got a 30 min walk this morning, and am off to work now.

Stacie- That's awesome you're running the 5K race. Will your husband run with you? You're right, there's not better place for your first race. What fun you'll have.

Thanks dona. I'm 43 now, and the first time I ever did Weight watchers I lost 35 pound in about 4 months. I think I was about 25 at the time. Having yo-yo'd that weight on and off over many years, it just doesn't come off so quickly. I was almost 50 pounds heavier than when I first joined ww back then. I am determined that I will not regain it all ever again.

Have a great day!!

HI EVERYBODY!! WE ARE BACK!! WE HAD A GREAT TIME! WE STAYED AT SSR FOR THE FIRST TIME AND WE LOVED IT! WE ALSO DID THE DINING PLAN FOR THE FIRST TIME AND UNFORTUNATELY I PUT ON 2.5 PDS. AND CLARK-KENT PUT ON 4.5:scared1: BUT NO WORRIES WE WILL HAVE IT OFF BY NEXT WEIGH IN!!(HOPEFULLY) :thumbsup2

Hey I still weigh-in each week! Since I started at night after dinner, I wait till after I've ate to give my weight.

Tonight I'm going to spin class, tomorrow TKB, Saturday spin class and TKB back to back.

I'm busy with dealing with my hubby coming back from Iraq shortly, being in charge of a Weight Watchers Weigh-in Challenge for 100 people on LiveJournal, and trying to stay sane!

Welcome back Big Mama and Clark-Kent I hope to see your PM in my email on Tuesday morning.

How was DW? You have to tell us all about it. I am so envious that you got to go. I haven't had a vacation in over a year and a half. Yes I had the summer off but I didn't go any where. But there is always next summer when we are going to DW.

I don't have much time this morning. I will get back later and post a question of the day.

And the results of this week's weigh in is

1st place black team:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:
2nd place blue team with .37% loss
3rd place red team with .352% loss

Congratulations. We may be small but we have lost an awful lot of weigh ins. NOw we have to keep looking at the final picture.

So far as the 9 members we have we have lost a total of 104.4 pounds. We need to up that so that the final total will be ours. Congrats to elan who lost 6 pounds from her last weigh in.

Keep up the good work. Let's see if the small can triumph on Dec 18th.

Congratulations Black Team on your impressive victory for the FIFTH week in a row. :cool1:

FIVE WEEKS!! Black Team what is your secret?

I :worship: to you again Black Team, and my knees are getting sore bowing to you so much.

Watch out for RED. We are working hard and hope to one day defeat you.

Even though our weigh ins are not as impressive as yours we are happy to be losing also. We all are working hard together to become The Biggest Losers!

Great work again, keep it up.

Have a healthy day.

My question of the week is really for BigMama and Clark-Kent and anyone else who has been there recently(I think FmrCstMbr).

Please when you have a spare moment this weekend please tell us about your trip to DW.. What airport did you leave out of? Where did you stay? What did you see? What did you eat? We need to live through someone who has just come back.

WOW! Wait to go, TEAM!!! I am so impressed with our total loss for the challenge! Congrats to all of the losers this week. I hope to get back into that club and outta the stay-the-same group this week! I want a good loss week before Thanksgiving gets here!

Dona - I wanna play the question game! Too bad my last trip was in January of 07. It was interesting though, if you want to know about it.... :rolleyes1

Yes Yes PLease tell. My last trip was Aug 2006 with my sister. I will tell about that if you tell about yours. Okay let's everyone tell about their last trip to DW. What was special about it?

Good Morning and Congratulations to all our losers here!!!! :cool1: We are the biggest losers!!!! :thumbsup2

It's a rainy morning, so no walk today, but the weekend should be nice so I'll get out then. I've been doing well in the food dept this week.

I'd love to hear about everyone's WDW trips. My last trip was almost a year ago in december. It was my sons first trip and we went for his 5th birthday. We travelled with my db, dsil, and dniece and stayed at all star music, and had a wonderful time. One of my favorite days was my sons' birthday. Just he and I went to MK for opening ceremony and then just meandered around until we met up with the others for his birthday lunch at Crystal Palace. He was thrilled when Tigger brought out his cake. It was our busiest day too and after the afternoon parade, we went to see the Osbourn lights at MGM which were awesome. The kids fell asleep at mgm, and we just relaxed on a bench with an eggnog. My son's favorite part was meeting characters, and we spent one day at MGM where he met a ton. I loved watching his face light up when he spotted one. Our first character greeting was on our first full day on the way into MK when we met chip and dale. He was so cute and excited. I'll shut up now, and get ready for work.

Keep up the great work everyone!!!! Let's hear about those trips!!!!!

HI EVERYBODY! WELL WE HAD A GREAT TRIP. TO START OFF WE FLEW FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 13 YEARS, WE USUALLY DRIVE. WE LEFT OUT OF ATLANTIC CITY AIRPORT. IT IS A VERY SMALL AIRPORT SO IT MADE IT VERY EASY FOR US INSTEAD OF DRIVING UP TO NEWARK AND DEALING WITH SUCH A BIG AIRPORT, IT WORKED OUT WELL FOR US. WE ARE NEW DVC MEMBERS THIS YEAR AND WE STAYED AT SSR FOR THE FIRST TIME. IT IS A VERY PRETTY RESORT IT HAS A VERY RELAXED FEEL TO IT. THE ROOM WAS CLEAN AND VERY SPACIOUS.WE HAD A GREAT LOCATION, RIGHT IN THE FIRST BUILDING IN THE SPRINGS SECTION (WHICH IS LOCATED RIGHT BY THE MAIN HUB)THIS MADE IT EASY GETTING BACK AND FORTH. THE WEATHER DURING THE DAY WAS BEAUTIFUL FULL SUN,BUT AT NIGHT IT WAS A LITTLE TO CHILLY FOR ME. WE HAD A VERY BUSY SCHEDULE, WE WENT TO EPCOT, MGM, AND MAGIC KINGDOM. WE WILL GO TO ANIMAL KINGDOM NEXT TIME. AS FAR AS OUR DINNERS GO WE WENT TO THE KONA CAFE, CALIFORNIA GRILL,AND LE CELLIER. WE HAD BREAKFAST OUT OUR FIRST DAY WITH MY DB DSIL (FORMRCSTMBR)(SP?) AND DN.THEY ALSO MET UP WITH US FRIDAY AND WE SPENT A FUNFILLED DAY IN EPCOT TOURING AROUND THE FOOD AND WINE FESTIVAL, ALOT OF LAUGHS AND MEMORIES THAT DAY.THEN WE ALL WENT TO LE CELLIER THAT NIGHT FOR DINNER,GREAT TIME.SO OVERALL WE HAD A WONDERFUL TRIP, IT JUST WENT TO FAST. WE HAVE ALOT TO LOOK FORWARD TO FOR OUR NEXT TRIP IN APRIL!!!THANKS FOR READING!!:) P.S. I ALREADY LOST THE 2.5 PDS. I PUT ON THERE.:thumbsup2

My last trip was AUg 2006. It was with my twin sister. When I was in college she finished secreteriall school in 1 year and was working while I finished college. She took a couple of trips by herself after getting out of school. When I finished school I was working and planning a wedding so we had not time to travel together. Our families have met up in DW several times and the cousins have loved going off by themselves in the last couple of years.

In April 2006 I mentioned to my dsisthat I had no plans for the summer maybe we should take a trip to Dw together. My dh and ds were doing 4 weeks of BOy Scout stuff that summer and I was going nowhere. She said that her husband wanted to go so I stopped thinking about it becasue I didn't want to be the third wheel. Sometime in July she called me to tell me about her plans to Italy. Dn was sudying there for 6 weeks and my dsis's family wanted to go over and visit. When she finished talking about Italy she asked me if I still wanted to go to DW for a long weekend since they hadn't used all their DVC points. I said yes and then had a little over a month to plan.

We flew out of Newark on Jet Blue (I love their tv's) Both going out and coming home were delayed because of weather. Going out Fl was having bad rain storms. We didn't get to ASsp until 2 in the morning and at 7AM someone was knocking at our door looking at the wrong room.

We had 4 great days. The only thing that she had booked before hand was tea at the GF for us. We would get up in the morning and then pick where we would like to eat for a late lunch and call dining and since it was the 2 of us we got the time and the place. We ate in Mexico, Mama Melrose and France. It was nice to eat at those places since ds's would not like those/

For me the best part was where we stayed. The last few times I have stayed wer have camped so this was a step way above where I usually stay. We stayed at the Boardwalk in a 1 bedroom. I had the couch and she had the bed. We each had our own sink but we had to share the toilet and the shower. I tried a soaking tub for the first time and our balcony over looked the waterway to MGM

I spent so much money that weekend. I bought all my dn's and ds1's girlfriend silk purses that looked like Chinese Takeout boxes. I bought myself a tea set from Japan when China didn't carry extra pieces to the one I had at home. We got to test drive a segway and just had a great time.

Coming home we were delayed because there were terrible rains in NJ but they wanted us out of FL since a Hurricane was coming. We got into Newark about 1 in the morning. SHe had to go to work the next morning but she only lives a 1/2 an hour from the airport.

Since we have never traveled together before they were taking bets to see who would come home alive. Instead we loved it and said we should do it again sometime and maybe take a couple of my other sisters. I on ly know of 1 or 2 who would probably come. (there are 5 girls and 1 sister in law)

BigMama I have flown out of AC airport before and have really liked it. The only problem is driving down really early for a 7AM flight you run into a lot of deer on the parkway. It is a great little airport and easy to deal with. Glad you had a good time.
