QOTD for Thursday:

Finish this sentence… “When I reach my goal weight…

I am going to buy myself a whole new wardrobe. :cutie: I've told myself I am not buying any news clothes unless they are a smaller size than what I am currently at. I am a shopaholic so that is an extra incentive for me to lose the weight.

I would also like to run in a Disney marathon one of these years.

When I reach my goal weight... I will able to fully enjoy all of the traveling I have planned for next year without that nagging guilt of being overweight! Then I can approach my adventures with more confidence- to coach my oldest daughter's soccer team at a tournament in Sweden, a family reunion to the Outer Banks of NC, and my 40th Birthday land and sea Disney trip!

This board has already become a great motivation and a wonderful replacement for mindless snacking- thanks blue team!;)

Vija: I am sorry that your daughter is sick. :( I hope she feels better soon. Kudos to you for resisting the chips!

Hypermommy: Great job on the multiple workouts! As far as the CP: Every Cast Member has to have the same guest service training. We all go through a class that teaches us Disney's standards of service, then you go through intensive training that is specific to your role but is still very guest oriented. When I got my BA and was interviewing for different jobs at a career fair, everybody wanted to know about my Disney experience, that stood out more than anything else! As for what I did, I'd tell you, but then I'd have to kill you ;). Just kidding. Let's just say that I am short, and I performed in the Share a Dream Come True Parade (performed in it closing day), Disney Dream Come True Parade (Opening day!), Spectromagic, and Celebrate the Season in 2006. In 2006 I also worked Stitch's Cosmic Dance Party at MNSSHP.

Junebug: It's awesome that you were able to resist the stress eating! You recognized that you weren't hungry, and you stifled the impulse. That is hard for even the most experienced "dieters". Give yourself a pat on the back!

Sabrina: Tell us how you like the DVD! Does Jillian scream at you the whole time? ;)

Hobbester: Every time I see your name I think Hobbitster! I find that after I've been watching what I eat, if I eat something too high in fat or sugar it makes me feel sick. Maybe our bodies are trying to tell us something.

Jaime: Congratulations on being so close to your first goal!

Shewelch: Welcome to the Blue Team!

Briarmom: Hugs to you and your DH. I pray that he comes home soon. It must be tough being so far away.

Bellybee: Don't be discoruaged by your results. Good job for sticking with your plan for today. Every journey begins with a single step (or something like that).

Cjackpearl: I love how you are making your exercise quality time with yoru children! Keep up the good work.

Holly: Congratulations on the loss!

Hypermommy: I'm glad we could help you on your mini challenge! Good going on the willpower!

JamesnNick: I hope you feel better soon. Congratulations on persevering despite not feeling well.

Whew, now that all that is caught up:

Today was good and bad. I'm starting to feel stressed about my workload, and I think that my lack of sleep is catching up with me. If you there are any bizarre sentences or typos in my earlier posts, you know why. After this I am going to bed.

I make my English class keep journals, and today's topic was how can we make our school healthier. I teach seventh grade special ed, and getting these kids to do anything is like pulling teeth. I read them an article from CNN on the ten healthiest schools and then told them that we will be writing informative paragraphs about how we can make the school healthier. Next week we will write a letter to the principal advocating for the changes. I told them first we had to brainstorm, and I was dreading another period of dragging answers out of them.

Imgaine my surprise when they were jumping up and down, throwing out ideas, most of which were really good. They asked if the principal would implement any of the ideas and I told them I didn't know. That's when one of the girls said that they should get lots of people to write letters. Now we are going to start a letter writing campaign to not just the principal but the school board with suggestions on how to make the school healthier! I love seeing the ownership.

I definitely was bad and had a Butterfinger Crisp as a snack today. I am not supposed to eat carby snacks, but at least I managed to not have soda. That counts for someting right? I also managed to walk my dogs two nights in a row.

Now I'm off to bed before my post becomes completely incoherent.

QOTD~ Thursday,
When I reach my goal weight I will be wearing a bikini on a beach as I've been wanting to do this for a long time...

Im down 3lbs today, I think it's all the stress with the surgery this Friday, Then Thursday all what I can have is clear liquids. So hopefully there will go another 1lb or so!

When I reach my goal weight, I will be able to fit in all the nice clothes I admire.

SWIMWEAR!:thumbsup2

Sorry I haven't been in in awhile. After Tues night I was just emotionally and physically exhausted. I only worked out 45 min on Tues AND 45 on Wed. Food was not good on Tues but ok Wed. We had pizza for dinner, but pizza here is not American pizza (no grease, little bit of cheese, very thin crust) so I don't feel too bad about that.

Here's to a FABULOUS Thursday!:dance3:

Princess Vija... prayers and pixie dust for your baby. Hope she's feeling better soon. :tinker:

QOTD: When I reach my goal weight...... I'm gonna have a great time shopping for clothes at Goodwill... I'm gonna have the sexiest wardrobe and pay next to nothing for it... definitely a win/win!!! Oooh... and I had to add on once I saw Lifelong Dreamer's reply... I'm gonna run a Disney marathon too. Hey, maybe we'll get to run together and Team Blue can open up a can of Tigger on all those other marathoners! :tigger:

Eeyores Butterfly - if you're short that can only mean you were Mickey or Stitch, right? As cool as it would be to have played Mickey, I'd have to hope for Stitch becuase my youngest is a Stitch Fan Extraordinaire!!! Thanks for the info on the CP. That confirms what I thought -- that it'd be a great start for them. Oh, one more question -- do CP'ers get to let family members in for free? That'd be another bonus, for sure (and no... I'm not more interested in free admission than getting my kids off to the right start.... at least I don't think I am) :rotfl2: Great about you walking the dogs and resisting soda. And remember... anything is okay in moderation. That's the key, I think.

How cool about your class!!! Don't you love it when the kids take fire like that? I've been working with Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts for years and for years I've been telling the Boy Scouts that this is their troop and they can do anything they want to as long as it's legal and they can figure out the logistics. Some of the 15/16 year olds are really starting to "get it" and really take ownership of the troop. Wow, that's so cool to see!

Hiya Baby1Disney!!! :welcome:

ToodlesRN.. surgery? Nothing major I hope? Please let us know how it goes.

Briarmom ... "only worked out 45 minutes".... imagine how different your life would be if the statement was only worked out 0 minutes. Every little bit helps!!! Can you send us a recipe for Belgian pizza? That sounds like a way I might be able to trick my taste buds into behaving.

Eeyores Butterfly- Hobbes came from the cartoon Calvin and Hobbes. When he was a kitten, he was wild. I think sometimes we need to eat something not so healthy for us, so don't stress as long as you can control it.

ToodlesRN-good luck with the surgery tomorrow.

When I reach my goal... I will rip the tags off of several outfits I have in my closet and wear them proudly.

I ordered it from the local joint. It's just the European way of cooking pizza. In a wood burning oven. It's soooo good. I have no real idea why it's not greasy, but everywhere I've had it here, it just isn't.:confused3

WOW, the thread has been busy, I think I'm caught up on reading now.

WTG Blue Team...big congrats to Holly too!!!

QOTD Wed - Of course our blue team here and all of the WISH board. I also depend on some other dis buddies that help keep me accountable. Family hasn't quite got on board yet, but hopefully soon.

QOTD Thurs - I will stay there this time because this is a life long change, not just for the time being. I will also get back out and enjoy my Disney shirts that I haven't been able to wear in a while.

I normally WI on Wed and report...I was down another 2 pds yesterday so that is motivating to continue on with the things I'm doing.

Not much time here but will try to check back in tomorrow morning.

Just cooking dinner Chicken Tikka and Rice tonight

I am starving which is not a good way to start lol

QOTD is completely stumping me today. I guess I've never thought in my head that I would actually get to a goal weight so I've never dreamed about what that would mean for me. That's pretty sad, isnt' it.

I guess I would say it would mean finally mean being healthy for the first time in my life. I lost my mom way too young due to complications because of her obesity. I want to live a long life to see my kids grow up.

So now that I just put a huge damper on the board :guilty:

Congrats to all on a great job so far.
