Goldcupmom--My prayers are with you and your DD. Please post an update when you have a chance :grouphug:

Great job team! Glad to see some more LOSERS checking in :cheer2:

Goldcupmom: Please know that I am praying for you and your DD. Keep us posted.

Well, I am having a very frustrating week. It has actually been a frustrating few weeks. First, it is my TOM. I KNOW that is part of this, but it seems like I keep gaining and losing the same 2-3 pounds. I joined WW about 8 weeks ago (online) and I am down a total of 8 lbs. since then, but I am just not seeing consistant results. For the past 3 weeks I have really been sticking to my exercising. I don't really cheat...(I may go over on points a little because of a few extra bites, but no Fast food, or pig outs or anything major)
So, I am up 1.2 from last week which makes my weight loss on WISH officially ZERO!!!
I bought the Biggest Loser Fitness book and I did my first workout with weights yesterday, so I am starting to incorporate strength training into my cardio, so maybe that will help. (By the way...that is a great book for anybody wanting to add weights to their routine but are not quite sure how to.....like me!)
Thanks for letting me vent. I am going to stick to the plan. I know that eventually it will have to work. I just wish it would HURRY UP!!!
Have a great day....and congrats to all the LOSERS!! I am officially jealous!:goodvibes

Hi team,

I'm back up the .8 lbs that I lost last week. But I'm not giving up and it could have been a lot worse.

Here's my exercise plan.

Take my chihuahuas for a 30+ minute walk everyday.

Sunday - Rest/Take an additional walk
Monday - 530 pm Strength Training with resistance bands / ablounger routine
Tuesday - 530 pm YOGA
Wednesday - 530 pm Strength Training with resistance bands / ablounger routine
Thursday - 530 pm YOGA
Friday - 530 pm Dance aerobics DVD (So much fun)
Saturday - 930 am Strength Training with resistance bands / ablounger routine

So I guess today is Yoga day. I use a Denise Austin DVD (she's a little annoying). It's been awhile but I'm looking forward to it.

I'm shooting for a 3 lb loss this week.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Sabrina

Well, I am back from the hospital. The baby is so far staying put. Thank Heavens. She isn't feeling any contractions and she is still having her headaches, but so far so good. Thank you to all of the prayers, and good wishes. Just a waiting game now. I just got back and in the past I would have used being out during lunch as an easy excuse to go out and eat, but I didn't and I won't! I am very proud of that. I came home and just had left overs from yesterdays dinner. I feel very on track right now and very happy about that.

MIdanceMom, congrats on the 2# loss!:yay: Way to go! Hope you had a great workout!

LaLaroo78, WOW, 2.5# ALLRIGHT!!!! tHat is awesom!:dance3: thanks for sharing about your niece.

VernRDH, thank you for sharing about your niece as well. It is comforting to hear how others have gone through this and have thrived. Thanks

ohMom, congrats on the 1.4# loss YIPEE!!:yay: And now you are in that fantastic decade of numbers! YOu go girl!

AlreadyexcitedGrammy, wow, with everything you had going on last week, and you lost 2#!!!! WAY TO GO!!!!! That is fantastic! You are right, you and Ohmom think alike! Like mother like daughter!

*BTMRR* , maintaining is still ok!!!! Hang in there. I have found myself avoiding WISH when i wasn't doing so well, but I am glad to see you are committing to checking in 2x a day. We'll be here to help you on your way!

becka, WOWZER! Another 4# loss! sounds like shaking up things really made a difference! Before you know it, you will be in that other decade! That new clippie looks Mahvelous! :cool2: Fantastic job!

luckywife , Hold on to that maintaining, that is ok, and you said you were doing good again, so I know you will see great numbers next week! Thanks for sharing about your nephew. It will be great to report that my nephew is here and healthy! Hopefully all will be well.

goldcupmom
, congrats on the weight loss! 3.4# is AWESOME!!! But most importantly I am sending you those hugs and prayers for your DD. Please keep us posted, and I will keep praying.

MinnieMouseMom, Maintaining is a step that we all will take, and you are doing great!

Geekerbell, glad to hear that you are doing better. A pound loss!!!! FANTASTIC! I am so glad you are getting back on track. I know what you mean about the importance of the clippie!

hrpufnsash, Congrats on the 3.4# loss! You are on a roll! Awesome job! Glad your wrist is feeling better.
the community and motivation are priceless!
I coldn't agree with you more. Being part of the blue team had been priceless, the love, support and motivation we give each other has been amazing.

AuntieM03, congrats on the 1/2 pound loss. a loss is a loss! way to go! Shaking up your exercise routine and joining WW are fantastic steps you are taking toward your goal. Pretty soon, you'll do a victory dance.

DisneyMomTwins, hang in there, it will happen. Talk to your WW leader and see if she can help you "tweak" a few things. The exercise shake up will certainly lead to increased muscle mass=increased metabolism= increased weight loss. Here's hoping to a great week for you!:flower3:

Sabrina_Mouse, sending a hug your way as well. I love your determination and I love how you are being consistent and setting fantastic goals. Your hard work will pay off in the end, I just know it! Hang in there!

Hoping everyone has a great day today!
Blue team rocks!

Well I can only report a .2# loss for the week. Between being over stressed at work & TOM did me in. I knew it wouldn't be a good week.

Question about Team Challange...

the 20 mins vigorous workouts. Is that 5 pts for every 2 - 20 mins or longer? Or is it for every 20 mins (40 mins = 2, 60mins = 3).
Just trying to figure out my points so I can make sure to get them in this week. I totally blew it last week. So I want to do my part this week, especially after my dismal loss.

Well - after a gain of 1 pound last week due to free dining at WDW, I lost 1 pound this week. So my loss is 4 pounds total - what it was after week 1. I'm hoping that this week I'll get back into the swing of things.
Congrats to everyone for showing up here regardless of whether you lost or gained weight.
Prayers to those who've asked for them. Hope everyone has a good week ahead.

I lost one pound this week! I can’t complain though, I ate well all week however I wasn’t able to get any walking in besides one day. I started potty training my 2 ½ year old last week and she was to scared to go for our hour long walks because she didn’t want to have an accident. But I am happy to say that she has overcome that today and we went for our hour long walk and she was very proud of herself that she didn’t have an accident. Thank goodness for that because now I am back on track!
:cheer2: Great job to everyone on the Blue Team whether you lost, maintained or gain! :cheer2:

To everyone that is going through struggles, whatever they maybe, I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers!

I so had to get to this board QUICK and get out of the kitchen! There is chocolates and cookies and stuff that just shouldn't be in my "view" at the moment! I did have Hershey's 100 cal pack of choc and pretzel - they are GOOD - have a cup of green tea with lemon and here for the food diversion!!

I think I can make it now - I sneaking by the kitchen and moving downstairs with DH - no - no - no - he will not rescue me from snacking - he will be bringing goodies into that room all evening but I am going down there with him anyway :rotfl: I am strong for my BLUIES - besides as I told Molli today I keep hearing Debbie saying .... me, thinks Blue needs to kick it up a notch........ well, that included me in that comment - I am claiming it as my mantra - well at least until another phrase comes along (thanks Debbie it worked for me last week  )

Hugs - kitchen - what kitchen - not for me I am going to the family room:yay:

I'm down only 1 pound this week, but it's also almost that time of the month and I know I'm retaining fluids because my rings aren't as loose.

goldcupmom: I'd be scared out of my mind, please let us know as soon as you find out something!

Veronica, that 2.4 loss IS great. Keep up the good work!

Vija, look at that sparkling clippie! It looks good, but I especially like the positive attitude that you are exuding right now. You're like the treasure at the end of that colourful rainbow! I've sent prayers for the wee little person! Keep us up to date!

Beth, you go girl! 2 pounds is the perfect loss per week. ;)

Michele, you must have done some real workouts to lose that 2.5 pounds!
Good for you!

Molli, 1.4 pounds even with all the stress and irregular week AND a new decade! High 5!

Bev, welcome home. You not only lost what you had gained last week, but another 0.5 pounds to boot. That's the weigh to show those young'uns!

MJ, sweetie, you have to know to come here, no matter loss or gain. Today, we are celebrating your maintaining. That's an accomplishment in itself! Think positive, without judging yourself too harshly!

OMGosh, becka. FOUR pounds? We ought to put you on the BL scale tonight! You show 'em, girl!

luckywife, another maintainer, keeping us on an even keel. Thanks for doing that, 'cause all the jumping from other posters might sink the ship! :)

Julie, WOW, 3.4 pounds, and all that through the stress of DD last week. Prayers for you both have been sent. Please keep us informed!

MinnieMouseMom, another person to balance the team. (not that any of US are unbalanced! :lmao: Keep on the path! Next week will be another day!

Geekerbell, so glad that you made it through the weekend. Try not to weigh between weigh ins because sometimes people get discouraged and then say What the Heck and go really off the deep end. Hmmm. Who would that be, I wonder she says as she looks in the mirror. :rolleyes1

Sasha, so glad that you are feeling better! The community here is super, aren't they. A 3.4 pound loss? Terrific!

Auntie Mo, maybe all that exercising has your muscles becoming smaller. How are the clothes fitting. Remember, the scale is NOT the only weigh to measure success. I can hardly wait to see how you do next week. Have fun at WW!

DisneyMomTwins, I hear your frustration. You may be (somewhat) in the same boat as Auntie Mo, if you've been exercising a lot. Keep working hard, and don't forget to measure the food that you eat. That's always a downfall for me. My eyes don't always eyeball the servings just right.

Sabrina_Mouse, you have a great attitude. Giving up is NOT in our vocabulary. Thanks for posting your plan....now don't forget to add up all of your points! :teacher:

disneychrista, what do you mean it iwasn't a good week? You lost, right? AND you know why you didn't lose as much as you wish. Heck, every 0.2 pound loss is a step in the right direction.

Nancy, congrats on the 1 pound loss.....despite the omelet at Tony's and the Cracker Barrell biscuits. ;) Congrats. Do you feel any older this week?

kitkat, give the little one a hug for us. Every pound counts, but when little ones become independent and diapers can go bye-bye, now that's an accomplishment!

I've lost a pound this week. I'm thrilled that the scales moved at all, and down was fantastic!

WEIGH to go, Blue Team! Be sure to PM Vija to aid in the calculations, and don't forget to add up your challenge points. I'm off to do that....and PM PV right now!

Hi all!

I'm down 1.8 AND it is TOM so not sure how that impacts - I just know I'm happy to have a loss this week.

Good luck Blue!

CONGRATULATIONS EVERYONE!!!

You are all doing an amazing job. I am so proud of each of everyone of you. P.Vija- I'm glad things are in a holding pattern.

Goldcupmom-I will pray for your dd. Please keep us posted.

Take care.
Beth

So I hope I didn't miss the cut off for the challenge as I just sent in my points I earned.

So today was crazy. I spent about 3 hours at the bank trying to dispute charges. As I am having unauthorized electronic check withdrawals from my account. I opened a new account but the other is still open and not sure what is going to happen. My low tire light came on while driving to work, so I had to stop and put air in my tires. I ended up not getting to work till 1:30pm, then I had a training tonight so I just got home a little while ago.

Good news I am down 2.6 pounds. I still have several to lose until I reach my starting weight for this challenge.

OK, I am off to bed. 6am comes way too early. Night all.

just checking in while i have a few minutes b4 leaving for work/take DD to school and thinking of our team :grouphug:

seems like we overall had a great week --- can't wait to see the WI results!!

and all -- i posted the 3rd team challenge on a seperate thread, be sure to check it out!!

here's to a healthy day ahead of us!! stay strong!!

good morning Blue team losers!

I want to quick post this and then I am off to the elliptical. For the challenge points, please PM the results to me today. In case your forgot the task, here is the list

Write down an exercise plan for the week -- put the times on your calendar, treat it like a scheduled appointment. Share your plan with your team in your weekly thread -- MAX 5 pts

Spend 10 minutes stretching after 2 workouts this week ***
worth 5 pts after your 2nd session of 10 minutes of stretching; multiples most be completed in sets of 2 (4 times = 10 pts; 6 times = 15 pts, 8 times = 20 pts)

Add 10 minutes to your cardio workouts 2 times this week ***
worth 5 pts after your 2nd session of an additional 10 minutes on your routine cardio sessions; multiples most be completed in sets of 2 (4 times = 10 pts; 6 times = 15 pts, 8 times = 20 pts)

Complete 2 vigorous workouts that are at least 20 minutes each ***
worth 5 pts after your 2nd vigorous workout; multiples most be completed in sets of 2 (4 times = 10 pts; 6 times = 15 pts, 8 times = 20 pts)

And to answer the question posted, if your workout is 20 minutes = 5 points, 40 minutes and it is vigorous then it counts as 10 points, if it is a vigorous workout for 60 minutes, then it counts as 15 points, etc! go blue team!

Thank you for posting the clarification on the points for the challenge. I will recalculate and PM you asap.
Beth

Yesterday's "symptom of the day" was heart palpitations & pain below/behind both ear lobes inside & out. Dr wanted us in (at 5:15), ran a couple of strips, and she is now having an irregular rhythm. Looks benign at this point, thankfully. They are faxing it to cardiology today.

Today at 11 we see a neurologist. If the headache would just go away, I think the nausea & dizziness would be better & she'd feel a whole bunch better. It seems to be the main problem.

They still say it's a reaction to everything and she should start improving every day. But today is day 8 from the shots & she is still horrid. Besides the pain, she's starting to really worry - obsess really - that she's dying. And the thought of missing all of this school isn't helping.

Wow, I don't know what to say. I feel for you and your daughter. Day 8 and no improvement, in fact a new symptom? I agree with you and think your doc needs to re-evaluate. Lots of  and prayers for you and your dd.... I pray that you get good news at the neurologist today.

There is still time to send in your challenge points for today! We have 12 members reporting in so far. Come on team, lets hear it!:cheer2:

I have our WI results, but we have 12 people so far not reporting in yet, last week we had 10 not report in. I know some are on vacation, and life gets in the way, but if you haven't reported in yet, please do. We are here to support one another. Even if it is a gain, we WANT to hear from you. The blue team is here for each other as we all work toward that goal.

disneychrista, a loss is a loss, no matter how small! And I will celebrate that with you!:dance3:

NancyK, congrats on the 1# loss. that is great! The free dining pound gain is now behind you and you can focus on moving forward and reaching your goals!

kitkat324, congrats on the 1# loss!:yay: and good luck on that potty training!

AlreadyexcitedGrammy, great job avoiding the chocolate and cookie goodies! I too have avoided some snacks thinking about the team!

SeaSpray, I am celebrating that 1# loss with you too!:dance3: That is a victory as you work your way down to your goal! WAy to go!

Debbie, way to go on losing the 1# that is awesome! I think I will help the blue team kick it up a notch as well for the next challenge... if you insist, I'll take one for the team and have a bubble bath! Only if you insist!:lmao:

slk537, Way to go on the loss! 1.8# is fantastic! You are rockin' the house girl!

ReAnSt, congrats on the 2.6# loss! that is fantastic! I did get your challenge points, no problem! I hope that your checking account issues get resolved soon. What a pain!

ohMom, I love the next team challenge! Like I said before, I'll take one for the team and force myself to take a bubble bath! :lmao: Ahh, the things we do for our team!:p

goldcupmom, oh dear, I am sending lots of hugs and prayers your way. Your poor DD, and you! I hope it all clears up and cardiology has some good news for
you. continued prayers for you all.
