Bizarre net experience

spybot and adaware do similar things, just seems like each will pick up on stuff the other doesnt

Everytime I have tried to run Ad-Aware or Spy Bot I can't get back on the internet at all, I can't access any websites, not even my e-mail. I have to do a system restore and then I am right back where I started from! What am I doing wrong? My Internet Explore randomly closes so I know something is wrong, but I don't know how to fix it.

Sometimes some of the virus/trojans/worms etc can do damage that can't be fixed by these programs.
You probably need to get some professional help at that point if you don't want to reload the computer

Jeanne, does your popup blocker have an option to "allow popups on this site"? If so, you should be able to allow popups on www.disboards.com and you'll get the normal behavior with PMs.
