Bistro de Paris???? Chefs de France?

Am I correct in that this restaurant is NOT on the dining plan? If not, I wonder why?

I was looking for an alternative to the Coral Reef because our ADR is for 8:20 and we would miss Illuminations. I was considering Bistro but thought I had read it's not on the DDP.

Another restaurant I was considering was Chefs de France. Any recommendation/suggestions?

There are several restaurants that choose to not participate in the DDP. Bistro is a VERY upscale, formal, adult geared (aka no kids menu) restaurant with an expensive and unique menu. They did not want to make changes in order to accomodate the DDP (and I don't blame them!).

Chefs DOES take the DDP; we dined there in Sept on it. We thought it was good. Crowded, great service, good food.

Chefs de France is a lunch favorite of ours, a very nice break from the hurry and rush of the park. The salad nicoise and the sandwiches are very good. Our kids liked everything on the kids menu. They also offer suggested wine pairings with the entrees, and they've never been a disappointment, and we've tried and enjoyed some wines we wouldn't have normally thought to try. I've also found the CMs at Chefs to be very nice, without fail.

It's a must-do for us.

I've never done the DDP, but do know that Bistro de Paris (the upstairs restaurant) is very nice, a bit more dressy (I think they call the dress code resort casual) and there is not a children's menu at Bistro.

Chefs is one of our favorites. Ate there at least 5 times no complaints on any one of them.
Bistro's menu does not appeal to us any more. We used to go there in the early 90's and had some fantastic meals then.

Chefs is fantastic...go and enjoy with the dining plan.

Le Bistro..Great for couples, small, intimate, romantic..pay oop!
