Biscuit's Grand Adventure | An epic tale three decades in the making!

I didn’t realize until I was going back and updating my “posters” database that this was your first post here. I’ve seen you on so many other threads, it just didn’t click. Sorry about that. So here’s your official Howdy and :welcome:

Dude, you're making me jones for some cabbage right now....or sauerkraut even better...
Love Sauerkraut. (And cole claw…khim chee, cabbage stew, corned beef & cabbage…the list goes on.)

Nice. Here's one of my faves:

"Your picture's in my wallet and I'm sitting on it. If that isn't love, I don't know what is." - Frank Burns
Nice one!

All on the same day?:lmao:
No…but I like the way you think.

Great report. I mostly lurked as I didnt have alot of time to comment. I love all your pictures.

I love M*A*S*H* I have great memories watching it with my grampy. I don't catch it as much as I like due to my work schedule.
Howdy and :welcome: M*A*S*H is one of those shows where you can just watch and enjoy. It’s perfect for winding down the day.

I couldn't agree more! I love your comparison and you are right, were you not on the plan you wouldn't get some of the things that come with the plan but I know for us, and our kids, those "extra's" that we wouldn't normally get (dessert, snacks) were a huge part of making everyone feel very spoiled, very on vacation and not adding as we went when a child asked for a snack...priceless!
It will be interesting to see how my opinions of the DDP hold up once the girls are full price.

I will admit though, after your review, CP really isn't very high on my list. It never has been and it did make the top 10 in my ADR family ranking test but didn't make the final cut. Your review pretty much summed up my impressions of it.
I think it’s def one of those places that’s great at breakfast, but mediocre at other meals. Kind of like Denny’s….only with topiaries….and costumed woodland creatures.

I loved, loved, loved your report! It was amazing to read. I sat at my desk, and rather than do homework (I'm a college student with eventually 2 majors and 2 minors) read this report all evening.
Yikes! I’m enabling! Don’t tell your mother! First off, Howdy & :welcome: Glad to have you here. I remember those days well. Enjoy them while you can!

Thanks for the laughs, the tears at certain points and the memories! My cousin worked as a CM during 1997 and told me stories about the pink castle, and it was great to finally see it!
Oi…the pink castle. That thing still gives me dizzy spells.

You will tell us how the trip home went, right?? This isn't THE final episode, right?? And you will still hang out with us, right??
The trip home will be included as part of the grand finale bash.

So, how is it you can put the words "glory" and "caffeine" in the same reference as that of what they serve at Disney (in most places) and call coffee?? EWWW!! The only "sadder" creature is one who's just had "coffee", such as it is at POP, AND preparing to shut the door for the last time.

I hope you sat next to someone on the way home who had just as many helpings of cabbage and bad coffee as you. ;)
Which is why I was drinking Coke. (Some people view chocolates on the pillows as the sure sign of vacation. For me, it’s Coke for breakfast.)

Please tell me you guys got these quotes from IMDB and didn't really have 30-year-old dialogue memorized! :sad2:

Well, okay, I say that, but it actually is a little disturbing how often I quote movies and TV shows in otherwise normal conversations...
Actually I Googled it. Shhh…don’t tell anyone.

No there is not, especially when you are watching all the happy people checking in because their vacations are just starting:sad2:
It is sad. Had a little tear in me eye.

Thanks for the review. I came to the same conclusion as you last year and as long as they keep offering we will probably get it the next time we go.
If it continues to be of value to us, so will we.

Auf Wierdersehen, Adieu?popcorn::
Adios even.

I have to agree with a PP who said Crystal Palace's breakfast outdoes their lunch and dinner. Their breakfast lasagna is to DIE for.
I may have to force myself up to try it out then.

I look forward to heairng about the woes of your fellow airline passengers' olfactories. :thumbsup2
It will turn into an interesting time at Orlando International.

I adore Hawkeye. (Yes, I had to google for the exact quote, but I knew some of the phrases in it.)
Nothing wrong with Googling!

On my last day, I always avert my eyes from happy newcomers. Just too depressing of a sight.
I understand. I felt the same way then the Magical Express bus unloaded while we were waiting to board.

Love the comparison!

Wow, can't believe your trip is coming to an end! We decided to end our trip at the MK as well, just seemed fitting...

I can't believe you're almost done!

On our last day I always find myself spinning scenarios where we could stay just another day or two. Maybe our car won't start? Maybe we'll get snowed in? If we stay one more day, and drive through the night to get home, no one will miss any more school, right? It's possible.

I like roast beast. "Your as cuddly as a cactus, your as charming as an eel..."

Really bummed you didn't shoot any food-porn this time - since I've never seen cabbage fried. I don't know that I would recognize it AS cabbage, but it sounds... interesting. I'm sure your fellow passengers on the plane home found it interesting as well!

I'm so sad your TR is coming to a close, say it isn't so!!!

Phew! Thank heavens! I thought I was going to have to talk to your Mama or something!! :lmao: Some things just need to be passed up- and Nescafe is one of them.

Love Sauerkraut. (And cole claw…khim chee, cabbage stew, corned beef & cabbage…the list goes on.)

I knew there was more than one reason I liked you! :thumbsup2

Borsch, cabbage rolls, Hungarian beef and cabbage....

brown and warm is about all you can say about the coffee....

and this had better not be over..not quite yet!

I'm bringing my own. I think I may even splurge and get some Kona?? Something super dark, and oilier than a 16 year old's hair.

Love the comparison!

Thanks! I think MK as the last park will be a tradition.

I ran through a few of those myself.

Love the Grinch music. Fried cabbage looks pretty much like regular cabbage but it whitens a bit. You don't bread it or deep fry it, it's pan fried, usually in a cast iron skillet, with a bit of diced onion.

Phew! Thank heavens! I thought I was going to have to talk to your Mama or something!! :lmao: Some things just need to be passed up- and Nescafe is one of them.
So I've been told. Coffee isn't uually my thing either Except on Sunday night when I teach my class at church. It helps my throat not go south on me.

I knew there was more than one reason I liked you! :thumbsup2

Yep...cabbage and outhouse humor. Talk about kindred spirits!

brown and warm is about all you can say about the coffee....

Still got the double sized finale to go. There has been suggestion of a Virtual TR.

You Ninja posted on me. I'm not even sure how to respond to that one. :lmao: I think I'll stick with Coke.

I'll look for the lights at Small World in Feb.....just to see if they've gotten to them yet.
Hey Jordan, dont' forget! (It's been a few months since you volunteered for this assignment.) We were referring to the dust covered stage lights which hang above the ramp that descends to the IASW loading dock.

I'm so sad this TR is coming to an end. Would you please go back to Disney again so I can read another?

Thanks for posting the math on the DDP. I thought that was REALLY helpful!

Howdy and :welcome: Trust me, I'd LOVE to go back! (We'll discuss that in the final episode.) The DDP numbers will be different for each person, but it seems like the more kids you have on the $9.99, the more it's worth it.

I'm feeling the pain of a child hitting the "adult" price range. Last trip Danielle was 9 when the trip started so I got charged for a child, nows she's 10. Ouch!

I know exactly what you mean! We're the same way this time around. Although I'm happy my daughter doesn't have to eat another chicken nugget and almost no veggies this time around.....it's pretty sad that we are mostly eating buffets this time! :rotfl: But, the one thing about it is that we get to have choices of veggies on our plates. I think Disney has caught on if you want side dishes for veggies it needs to be extra. Another reason why I'm not so sure we'll keep doing the dining plan every time we go back. If we had the choice of at least picking a dessert or an appetizer then we could at least have the option of getting a salad before the meal. Oh well! It's still Disney!!
