I’m glad it was worth the wait! I so totally LOVE that ride! Here’s a question – at EMH, do they close the queue early so that the ride closes around the end of EMH or do they keep it open and let everyone in line ride?

They keep it open until closing time. I can vouch for this, we made it into the TSM line (posted wait 25 minutes) at 10:58 and EMH was closing at 11....

We got out of rides at both DSM and Epcot after the parks were closed, kind of like leaving dinner after Illuminations is over, it's a little wierd! But cool at the same time.

I love your description of the difference between amusement parks and Disney. Disney knows how to tap into your emotion and all of your senses. The other parks, while fun, lack in the overall experience.

Hey BE! Thanks for the well wishes! I hope to sleep better tonight. I hear you on the infomercials. Then to make matters worse you doze off and they all run together. Suddenly Sham Wow gets ripped abs with P90X and uses the ChopIt to shred a Snuggie and uses it as fodder for planting tomatoes in its Topsy Turvey hanging from the Sundownner Awning which can then be roasted on its Rotisserie Express.

The more time I spent in Mouse Gear the more I loved this shop. Not sure what it is, but something about the place just makes it a fun spot to shop. (Did I just use fun and shop in the same sentence? GOOD HEAVENS I’ve been on the boards too long!)

So glad to read the magic returned after the nap! And that the girls, and you, loved Soarin'! The queue does take quite sometime even with the FP. I think the shortest I ever waited was 10 minutes, then another 5 in the line-up area. But, so worth it!!!

I told them to look because I was taking a picture and did a rapid fire as they got off. This was the middle shot and the only one of the three where they were all looking at me.

Great update GB! I looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove Soarin' too. I agree with Jordan - the music totally makes the ride. I really hope they DO NOT update the video footage like some people have predicted - because they usually change the soundtracks too when they do any kind of major upgrade to a ride. That would NOT be good!

So, you are an asthma geek too! I've been on daily meds for it since I was 15. Luckily those control it pretty well, so an albuterol inhaler will last me a year or so. The worst is when I get a bad flare up and have to go on steroids. It only happens every couple years anymore, so I always forget about the side effects. Its always three or four days into the steroids before I remember. Oh yeah, so that's why I'm so agitated and eaten two bags of oreos! Well, it makes a good excuse anyway

True! I always have mixed feelings about updating attractions. In this case, I don’t think it needs it.

I know that feeling! The last time I was on Prednisone, I was sitting at work and suddenly felt extremely hot in my arm. And only my arm. Which had turned red and was hot to the touch. It was a bit alarming, but the nurse line said it was a normal symptom of the steroids.
