Biscuit's Grand Adventure | An epic tale three decades in the making!

Hey, GB, I hope you're feeling better today. I have asthma, too, and it's no fun, that's for sure! This time of year usually brings several weeks of misery for the past two years, but so far, I'll knock on wood. We bought a real Christmas tree Sunday for the first time since I had my own apartment. I buried my nose in every tree at Lowe's and handled them all with no wheezing but we'll see once the tree moves from the garage into the house. At least the garage smells good!

I could tell you were on Albuterol even if you hadn't said so! :rotfl2: When I used to take it, my house would be so clean! My doctor put me on Maxair as needed about 10 years ago and it is great. No jitters, no racing heart. Now last year, nothing was working for a couple of days and the doctor gave me Symbicort--STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS--I thought I was losing my mind. Racing heart, panic attacks, twitches, pains, chest burning. I literally thought I was dying for about 4 weeks until my dh said one night "do you think it might be the inhaler?" Well, lo and behold, one day after I stopped Symbicort, I felt better.

No, I'm not on anything now, just feeling chatty tonight!

Greetings fellow sufferer! Hope the tree works out okay. Sorry to hear about the adverse drug reaction. At least you figured out what it was! My asthma is MUCH better than when I was a kid so Albuterol usually does the trick, but boy does it make a fellow a bit stir crazy. My coworkers are enjoying it though. Apparently I'm much more entertaining when I'm medicated.

Insightful one you are.;)
Just a sci-fi geek!

It's all good...If we ever do manage a Dis meet it'll be Peeps & Geeks. (Unless buffalo wings are involved in which case it may be retitled Sons of Thunder.

Hey leave Bufffalo alone !!!!!:lmao: For some strange reason we don't call them Buffalo wings:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Now which am I a Peep or a Geek?????:confused3

Sorry your asthma is flaring up, and hoping you're feeling better today than yesterday. I know I wonder sometimes how much Piper's meds affect her, she's still too young to realize the difference though.

I looooooove White Christmas, and Holiday Inn..I'm a sucker for the old movies. For some reason though, I cannot stand It's A Wonderful Life! I also enjoy show tunes, though I've never been to a musical other than a high school production, which I know doesn't compare. Anyway..looking forward to the next update!

The Peeps & Geeks. I like that.

I'm a Geek. Hands down, easy call. G-e-e-k!

GB, I hope you start to feel better soon! I've been dealing with some insomnia lately too, it stinks! I had a nasty cold that was causing it, but now I'm pretty well over it, yet the insomnia hangs on still. :headache:

At 4:00 am EVERY SINGLE CHANNEL in our town has an infomercial on it!

Thanks. I'm breathing okay tonight. Still tight, but not as bad as the past couple of days. I've not been to NYC so I have yet to experience "true" Broadway, but I have seen several national tours and all were fantsatic. The last one we went to see was Beauty and the Beast. It was just over 8 years ago in fact. If you ever do get a chance, I'd recommend going.

Hey BE! Thanks for the well wishes! I hope to sleep better tonight. I hear you on the infomercials. Then to make matters worse you doze off and they all run together. Suddenly Sham Wow gets ripped abs with P90X and uses the ChopIt to shred a Snuggie and uses it as fodder for planting tomatoes in its Topsy Turvey hanging from the Sundownner Awning which can then be roasted on its Rotisserie Express.
