I am planning on taking my son for an early birthday present in february. Does Universal do anything special like disney for children's birthdays? I want to make this as special as possible for my son, thanks in advance, kim

Well, I do know that if you tell the front desk at the hotel (onsite), they will send a basket of goodies up to the room, with a personalized card. I'm not sure what goes on in the parks. I was there this past July for my 14th birthday, and we weren't in the parks that day, but we did rent a cabana by the pool at RPR. We also went to Bubba Gump's for dinner-great fun!

Yep! They put the birthday person on a chair and announce to the restaurant how old the person is turning and that it's their birthday. You get sung to, and then you get a sundae! (They joked and said I was turning 21, )

The food was pretty good. Even if you don't like seafood, there are plenty of options. The servers are very friendly, and the gift shop is cool. Check it out!
