Sunday is my birthday and I am so bummed out about it. Saturday morning Hubby has a 9:00 am flight out to Santa Barbara for two weeks for a chem. conference, so he's missing my birthday.
I do not have made a lot of friends here in MN since I moved up here for Hubby to go to school, thus I really do not have anyone to call up on Sunday to hang out with.
The more I think about Sunday and what I am going to do all day by myself the more depressed I get. I also get depressed thinking about all the well wishes I'll recieve (from friends and family out of state) asking me what I have planned for the day. To which I'll have the depressing answer of "nothing".
I just feel blah about it all and needed to get all of that out to someone.

I agree with everyone. Go out and do something you really like to do. I had a birthday that I took off, I work at home, everyone else was busy. I went to the beach which always makes me happy. I had my favorite treats while I was there and shopped at the outlets. On the way home, a woman was riding my bumper through a congested area. As we came into the clear, she sped away. Not 2 miles down the road, she was stopped by a state trooper. What a sense of satisfaction there was, and I said "Happy Birthday to me!! Whatever you do, you should enjoy your day.
and celebrate that day however you and hubby want to. Then Sunday, I would follow any of the excellent self-indulgent suggestions other posters have given. When your friends call you, you can tell them about all the exciting things and wonderful presents you did on your Birthday Celebration!
Think about it, you get twice the mileage out of your birthday that way.
