Hi all!
Not sure if you remember my post a few weeks ago but I have booked dlp for feb half term in the pink hotel!!!

For your DD a Birthday cake is the first thing that springs to mind, you can have one at any of the table service/buffet restaurants, although Cafe Mickey would be my favourite just because the characters are there to come out with the cake. Or maybe Auberge would be nice, would your DD appreciate the princesses ? Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show for your husband, I've heard them sing Happy Birthday in there before, probably need to let someone on the door know it's his Birthday.
Rainforest Cafe do a Volcano Cake which comes out with sparklers lit.
You can pay extra to have things delivered to your room, flower wine chocolates etc.
Lots on nice restaurants to choose from for a nice meal, @ Blue Lagoon request a table "on the beach"
Park tours are prebookable
An evening tour into Paris

Hope this helps :)

Ooooh these all sound wonderful :0)
I love the idea of a meal at cafe mickeys with the characters bringing out a cake! Would I need to book a table and ask before we arrive? I was also thinking maybe a ballon and minnie plush to greet her in the room at the end of the day, do you think they could do this also?
For hubby I love the idea of the Wild West show! His birthday is the day we leave, do you think we would get to do that before we leave at 4??
We have been to dlp many many times but usually stick to the same places to eat, planet Hollywood and rainforest, is there any 'must do' places to eat??
Thank you so much for your help :0)

****book you're table before you go and tell them you would like a birthday cake - it's approximately €30 and yummy! You will have a character or two accompany your waiter with the cake!!****

****it's very expensive -€50 for a single balloon! You can get a balloon and plush yourself and place it in the room :-) ****

****Afraid not. This is an extra meal/show with 6:30 and 9:30 seatings****

****we like the Plaza Gardens for a grwat buffet with unlimited drinks!!****

I've answered in the **** for you :-)

I think Lisa's answered most of your questions, restaurant wise our favourite buffet from last years trip was upstairs at Billy Bob's in the Village. We tried the Steakhouse in Frontierland for the first time last year too and really enjoyed it. I love the setting of Blue Lagoon, but not the menu, haven't tried Walt's again it's the menu that let's us down. It's why we've done so many buffets there's always something for everyone at them :)
