birthday present question

OK, say today is your birthday.
You work 2nd shift (2:00-10:30pm) and your DH works 10:00-6:30. Your DD13 has just left for school with a charming attitude, your DD8 is getting ready for school but doesn't leave until 8:45. When would you open your presents? Would you just sit all by yourself and open them, wait till next weekend to open them or what? Say you were gone all weekend with friends, so opening them yesterday isn't an option?
Just say this happened to you?

we all eat breakfast at different times. I could take a quik 10 miutes tomorrow, assuming that DD13 is in a good mood and getting ready quick. One never knows with her.

dd decided she wanted to go out with her boyfriend and his family for the day saturday, after i had rearranged my schedual so i could be off and we could have friends over to bbq and play for her b day...so we had her party with out her.


she was not impressed..lol.. keeps wanting to know where her presents are... wheres her cake,, etc.
