Birthday party luck needed

Wish me luck... Im having my birthday tommrow. SO Ive figured out seating (adults at the table, kids at the coffee table with pillows for chairs). The I planned games. I tried for not alot of set up but GRRR Its not working. I have a scavenger hunt (fallow the clues) thing to set up (hang clues). THen theres the egg relay (Finally no set up), and then theres the Target practice game (Lots of set up, Gatta set up the ladder, tarp it (and the lawn), Then set up the target box). Letting kids toss balloons full of paint... IM CRAZY!! Hopefully it dosent rain and all goes well.

Um, do the parents know about the balloons full of paint? Most of the time, parents dress their children in their better clothes for parties, and not all washable paint is actually washable.

I agree-I would be MAD if my kids were doing that and I had to clean up afterwords. Just put water in the balloons.

The games seem like what i did for my 7 year old's Birthday party.

Definitely would NOT do the paint-do water baloons

are you a kid? or an adult? i am not understanding this at all. you are throwing yourself a party and having kid games for the kids? or adults? huh? paint in balloons?

I have to agree with previous posters - I don't think the paint filled balloons are a great idea. But if you are sure you want to do that, I hope you are going to let the parents know before they get to the party so they can decide what they want to do about it. Even washable paint can stain some items of clothing. Parents need to know to dress their kids appropriately and/or to bring a change of clothes.

Happy Birthday. Did you do anything with your adult friends for your birthday? Kid parties are fun (mostly for kids LOL) but you should be hanging out with grown ups, not 7 year olds.
