Birthday meal with 4 year old--not Character

We will be in DL on Thursday for my DS 4th birthday. We wanted to take him someplace for lunch or dinner for his birthday. Don't really want to do a character meal, as we are going to be in WDW on the dining plan in July. Any ideas of a place that a kid might think is cool? We would rather stay in the park if possible. TIA

Carnation Cafe is my pick. I know for lunch they offer the "peanut butter pallate" which would be fun for a 4 year old.

Taste Pilot Grill has aviation theming.
There are picnic tables in Bountiful Harvest and you can bring food from the Wharf or get food from the restaurant in the area.
Pizza port has great pizza and is space aged.

Billy Hill and the Hill Billies
Get there early to get a table up on the right or left, boxes.
You can bring food from Rancho Zocalo or next door. They also sell food though I have seen better food the kid meals would be alright for him.
A fun show and you can just finish up as the show starts.
The box on the right was Walt's.

I think this is a fun recommendation. You can have lunch and see the show, which is pretty funny for children & adults. They also serve ice cream sundaes there & a huge piece of chocolate cake.

Thanks for the help. Looks like we will look into Billy and the Hillbillies for lunch. Depending on how the day is going, we might hit rainforest on the way out.
