Hi,

There are 7 of us going to WDW at the end of August 2003 to celebrate my Mothers 60th Birthday. I would like to do something memorable for the day and thought one of these trips may be the thing.

They are however rather expensive and I wondered if anyone had any experience of them & if it was worth the $220?

If not does anyone have any special ideas??

Kind regards
Sharon

Hi Sharon

Welcome to the boards.:)

I have never done a Illuminations cruise, but know people that have and they have said it was definetley worth every penny:)

I'm sure someone will be along soon who has done a cruise.

We too celebrated my MIL's 60th birthday, we went to MK and took her on Splash Mountain, Big thunder Mountain etc...this was so memorable for her. She got her photo took on every ride and a 'special' family one in the middle of Main St.

Hi Sharon :) - welcome to the boards!!
I really love these cruises! We had a pontoon boat from the Yacht Club Marina ( they also depart from the Boardwalk) just the four of us, but to make it less expensive you could always share with another family.

We have a Captain of the Specialty Cruises joining us in UK Chat today ( Sunday at 7.00pm), and we'd love to see you there! Check out the chat notices :)
