Any ideas for what to do on board the 7 day Eastern Magic for DD's 13th birthday? It will be just the 2 of us travelling. I know she'll get the cake in the dining room...but any other thoughts will be appreciated. I suspect she'll spend most of her life in THE STACK! That's what she really wants to do on board.

You could order the room decorations from Disney and the room will be decorated when you enter.
And order a gift basket from Shirley at The Perfect Gift and her custom basket will be delivered to your stateroom. You could have an assortment of your daughter's favorites snacks and some gifts.

How about asking the kitchen to send little cookies to the stack...? is this a good thing to do or not...sometimes kids get weird at 13, I agree with Judy- I think the decorations sound nice to me!especially the little things in the basket, you could maybe stick a bracelet or something like that in there for her.. I dont know what your present is...maybe you can have it delivered in there too... I like balloons myself.:) Ahhh to be 13 again....:teeth: ((((Happy Birthday kcashners daughter))))))
(Now you get to deal with the big and bad teenagers....;) mom! ) Hope you have a good one!!
I dont know where your located at, but we are getting dumped on BIG TIME here in Pittsburgh ::yes:: I love every minute of it!!

Have a good day!! :wave2: Good Luck and let us know what ya do for her....when is your cruise?

Hi kcashner

We were very fortunate to celebrate our DD's 14th B-day on Easter Sunday this past Easter. We had Shirley make up a combo Easter/Birthday basket which actually was a tote bag. (Shirley, you're The Greatest). We were in Lumiere's for dinner. Our Servers and the Head Waiter plus other CM's made it a BIG DEAL. They made her stand on her chair while they sang "Happy Birthday". Our Head Waiter, John from Scotland, tried to get her stand on her chair in the middle of Lumiere's, but he couldn't coax her out there. Don't forget to get the special Disney Cruise Birthday Pin from your Head Waiter.

Our DD spent most of cruise with her new found friends, but we did get to see her at the evening show and dinner every night. She willl remember her 14th birthday for years to come. We have the pictures to prove it!!!
