I want to do something special for my daughters bday. She is turning 10. Can we order a cake and balloons to be sent to our room? Or is there a way to get a birthday card signed by characters? Anything kind of personalized, not terribly expensive, that we can do?

I already made us reservations for Goofys Kitchen and I told them we wanted the birthday add-on, but thats all I have arranged so far.

Is there a way to order the ears with names sewn on them ahead of time? I mean like order from home and have it sent to us at home, or at our hotel?

She has asked to go to Disneyland for her birthday for the past several years, so we really want this trip to be special. We are bringing her best friend along with us, and I want it to be memorable for both of them.

thanks

I assume you are staying on site?

They will email you a list of things you can order, including cakes and gift baskets.

You want to be sure that your reservation lists her birthday, and you can ask them for the signed picture. When we checked in to Paradise Pier last month, they asked if we were celebrating anything. When we told them we were celebrating our anniversary, the CM disappeared, and came back with 6 pink and red balloons (and two balloons for our son), and the Happy Anniversary buttons.

That's the other thing...if by chance they don't include a Birthday button, stop into City Hall and snag one (some say that CMs carry them, too).

I don't know about the ear thing, but I would think it would be more fun for a 10 year to pick out her own ears. She might want pirate ears...there are so many ears that the former 10 year old residing in my head simply must insist you let her pick them. :lmao:

Thanks bumbershoot fro posting this info:thumbsup2 ,

We will be up there for my 13yr old DD's princess: 14th birthday and I only knew about the birthday bucket;) , its nice to know they have a list of things to chose from:yay: .

My daughter shares a birthday with the man himself, Walt Disney:cheer2: so she has been wanting to go there for her birthday for awhile now because she feels it will be extra special:cloud9: but everytime we planned to go we ended up going on different dates other than her birthday:mad: so she is really looking forward to this :cool1: and I'd like to make it as special as possible:flower3: .

Thanks again, Zena :cutie:
