Birthday freebies

Haven't been to orlando in 5 years and have a ton of questions. This board has been wonderful! We are thinking about a trip the last week in March and it will be over our Ann. and DH's birthday. Where I live there are places that give you a free dinner on your birthday and I was wondering if anyone knows of any birthday freebies available in the universal area. Do the resorts do anything special? Thanks

I recently read on the Margaritaville site that they will give you a birthday sundae on your birthday. You can get to that website through www.universalorlando.com. Look for dining then click on the link for Margaritaville. You can call to request priority seating for your date. If you are on-site you also get priority seating. According to Christy at Margaritaville, there is no difference between the advance priority seating and showing your roomkey at the hostess stand when you arrive.

Thanks for the reply. I guess a sunday is better than nothing. It doesn't have to be onsite if anyone knows of a local restaurant that has birthday specials.

They do, it is huge. They gave one to my goddaughter on her third birthday, it was bigger than her head.
