Birthday Fastpasses instead of free ticket?

Has anyone opted for the Birthday Fastpasses instead of getting the free admission? We are considering doing this for DD since we do not need the free admission.

Curious as to what anyone thinks regarding value and how useful it was. We'll be going in July, which will be crowded, so we think it might be something we want to do. TIA!

Basically, you can get up 4-8 fastpasses with immediate return. Sounds good to me!

Some people have done it if they are going during busy times, because it's something special.

However, I think that most people who have adequate tickets for their stay opt for the Birthday Fun Card, which is a limited giftcard in the amount of a one day non-hopper ticket for that person (kid's pricing for 3-9, adult's pricing for 10+).
