We've got a cruise reserved for Wishes fireworks. They say you can pay extra to get sandwiches, drinks, etc brought onto the boat. Does anyone know if you can have a birthday cake or other dessert ordered to be brought on? I'm assuming you can't just show up with your own food, but would they supply us with something special for a birthday?

We have had them do cakes for us on fireworks cruises before. Call the number where you reserved the cruise and ask if they handle it directly or if you need to call the food manager for the resort you are leaving from. In our case they did it for us, I just told them what I wanted.

We did the birthday Illuminations cruise it was $220. We enjoyed it but I don't think it was worth the extra $100. We have also ordered cakes from Ohanas for about $40 and they were wonderful. I would check with the specialty cruise people and see what they will allow you to bring on board. I have seen reports on the boards of people bringing wine and things along on their cruises.
