Birthday celebration ?

We have never been to Disney for any of our birthdays, but we plan on taking dd for hers this fall....
Will table service restaurants do anything for her if we let them know ahead of time it's her birthday? Nothing big, but maybe add a few extra sprinkles and a candle or something?
I know you can order specially made cakes, but I think that's more money than we want to spend since her 'present' is going to be going to MNSSHP.

Usually if its noted on the ressie, they will bring out a bday cupcake. Call the ressie line and let them know. You will also want to remind them when you check in for your ressie.

Wearing the bday button helps also. You can get it at guest relations everywhere at the resort including your hotel.

We were there May 9-15...and it seems we saw quite a few TS Birthday Celebrations....

Teppan Edo's was really cute...

Whispering Canyon Cafe....got everyone in on the singing...

50's Prime Time did a nice little celebration as well...

Of Course Hoop Dee Doo Revue would be a nice "dinner and show" and they highlight Birthdays, Anniversarys...and somewhat graduations...

My two youngest picked Crystal Palace for their birthday back in Feb. and they were given cupcakes and a card signed by the characters. There was also confetti on the table. I know at CRT they gave my mother a cupcake and had confetti on the table as well. At Coral Reef they put a chocolate happy birthday sign with her dessert; no confetti or cupcake or anything like that. She wasn't looking for anything, but it was a nice surprise. I had forgotten that I had mentioned it to the CM on the phone when I made the ADR's. Anyway, there is no guarantee, so I wouldn't mention anything to your DDs that way there will be no disappointments. Also, all the TS places do have a small standard cake if you really want a cake without buying one of the fancy, expensive ones.
