Hi! I was wondering if anyone knows if you can still order a 6" birthday cake to be delivered to a TS restaurant. It seems that I remember reading somewhere that they will no longer do 6" and the smallest option is now 10"? Also if they do does anyone know the going rate now for 2014 for a 6" cake? Thanks!!! :goodvibes

Not sure about the 6" but here is all the info from Disney that I could find. Hope it helps. :goodvibes

I went ahead and just called Disney Dining and found out that you can still order a 6" cake which feeds about 5 pp and also the price as of now (2014) is $33 plus tax. Just in case anyone else wanted to know :goodvibes

Has anyone ever eaten one of these cakes? I find that sometimes bakery items that look great don't always taste great. Some feedback on the actual taste of a disney cake would be wonderful if anyone has any experience!

I can tell you after this Monday. I went ahead and ordered one for my husband's birthday and we are having lunch at Carnation Cafe. :goodvibes

I had a chocolate cake with white icing in 2011. Prefacing this with the fact that I don't really like chocolate all that much, I found the cake dry and kind of tasteless. The mousse filling was pretty good, but the amount of icing was thin and didn't taste like buttercream but wasn't whipped cream either. I did take some home for my family and the next day the cake was a little more moist, but overall I didn't think it was worth the price. Being somewhat local I'd take the option to find a cheaper cake elsewhere and go through the hassle of getting there. I realize that not everyone has this option without a rental car.
